"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."

"Quiet and rural, relaxing and nature-immersed, the villa was an ideal spot for an early summer break. Nikos was the perfect host, attentive and communicative but not over-bearing, simply offering guidance and support when needed. "We thought the place was charming. The location is perfect. It's on the street right behind the main street so not as crowded and situated in the middle of other shops and apartments. Be prepared for stairs though. We actually kept our suitcases on the main floor vs the bedrooms. Also, the street is not driveable after 11am. Google maps put us on the street at 10:30 pm. Yikes. But it was all good. We got free parking at the Marina the whole time."
