"Unfortunately, we never received the check-in information regarding the cabin. We’re staying in ahead of time, but we figured it out on our own when I try to contact the owner. Their information wasn’t on the Expedia website cabinet was clean but needs some updating, but this area is very beautiful. Some of the cabins look like they’ve been updated so I’m hoping they get to the one that we stayed in as well. "This cottage was clean and modern, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Also had lovely views as it was up on a hill. Nice big windows, comfortable beds, washer/dryer. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking lodging in Northern Iceland!"

"The stay was lovely despite the cold outside (-14). Had one issue and someone came quickly to help, thank you. Would be very grateful if the property could email entry details proactively on the morning of arrival instead of needing to chase each time without international calls. "We booked a few nights at the Hidden Cottage and simply loved the place! The cottage is located not far from a village, in a pretty countryside area. The house had everything you needed and the cottage was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. My 13 year old son particularly appreciated the soccer field we had access to!  I recommend this place during your stay in Iceland!"

"We had a great winter stay. The views were sunning. Loved looking at the snow covered views from the hot tub. Star gazing and northern lights when it got dark. Plenty of space around the accommodation for the children to explore/ go sledging. Also conveniently located for whale watching from Dalvik "

"Helga, who lives nearby, gave us a perfect stay at her beautiful home. The house offers all comfort and is super clean. Helga takes care about every thing. Nowhere in Iceland we slept better. Thank you!"
