"We had a great stay. We booked one night to be able to do an ice cave tour. Great location! My son enjoyed hiking to an old barn and waterfall. Just north of the roundabout in Kirkjubaejarklaustur is this smaller but very beautiful waterfall you can practically walk right up to. Definitely worth the 5 min detour off the main road. #waterlust
