"Overall we enjoyed our stay at Portou House. Our room was on the top floor. There was some hanging space but not a lot of storage other than one drawer. The bed was really comfortable and toiletries and a hairdryer were peovided. The room would benefit from soundproofing as there was a bit of noise from a nearby restaurant, however this did not spoil our stay. The rooms are in a great location. We would definitely return. "

"My wife and I stayed for a week in this beautiful, well-appointed apartment in a great location for touring Crete. It feels like a palace with marble floors throughout and doors to the outside in every room. The view of the sea across the road from the apartment is spectacular. There is a beach and many restaurants and services within easy walking distance. Maria is an outstanding host, going above and beyond to provide for your every need. "

"This place is fantastic. Walkable to old town Chania, grocers and bakery’s super close. Parking was sort of included, only two spots, had to park on street twice but even that was close. Great apartment. Washing machine came in clutch. "

"We enjoyed our stay in Chania. Especially mattress was so comfy that my back pain disappeared. Swimming pool was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly. Kitchen was well equipped with decent quality kitchenware. I would definitely go there again. 👍"

Very inconvenient. Poor business practice. If their age was an issue that should have been posted on the listing."

"Fantastic location for young families that want to relax by the pool / pebbled beach. Lots of parking, good restaurant on site, and really friendly staff who arranged a baby cot and chair well before we checked in! Only thing is the rooms have a slightly dated decor.
