"Villa Anastasia is a 15 minute walk up the road from Gaios. When we came to book there wasn’t that much available, and although we were looking at Lakka or Loggos we’re really glad we ended up at Gaios. As it’s the port, and the biggest town on the island, we were expecting scruffy, even seedy, but Gaios is not that at all. It’s elegant, with great shops (try the butcher), and the odd superyacht lying around. And regular buses leave from there for Lakka and Loggos. The house itself was...

"This amazingly located property was our home for two glorious weeks. We really enjoyed the adventure of the rustic path down to the beaches and into town and the view of the port was magic. This is a very spacious and well appointed home for your stay. We cooked meals and did laundry and we felt very at home. "The villa is lovely; very spacious bedrooms and communal areas, with lots of great spaces for relaxing and dining etc. of course, the pool and pool area is lovely. It’s location makes it feel peacefully remote, whilst still only being a short drive into town and providing easy driving access to the rest of the island. I would say a car/vehicle is necessary. "A spacious villa with a lovely veranda and pool overlooking the Ionian Sea. Located about a 20 minute walk from Gaios. Very comfortable for up to 4 people, it would be quite cosy for 6 although there is bedding for 6. The kitchen is very basically equipped with very little in terms of pots and pans. No basic groceries - salt/pepper/oil provided, although there was a bottle of water."

"The property was spotlessly clean albeit a bit dated. The twice weekly change over of towels etc was a nice touch. The kitchenware could do with a restock and update and a washing machine would be a bonus. The pool was kept sparkling. The location is great if you want seclusion and privacy but it’s quite isolated - a car or scooter is a must."
