THE COTTAGE IS A UNIQUE GEM. Perfect for those quests seeking a stress-free experience while away from home. The cottage is surrounded by old-growth pine trees in a tranquil backyard setting, minutes from the heart of downtown Sisters.

Has a lot of modern touches. Spacious cozy sleeping areas, two luxurious claw foot tubs, walk-in shower, outdoor wet/dry sauna, fully stocked kitchen, comfy living room sectional, Roku TV, surround sound, covered lite Gazebo, large fenced yard, and multiple outdoor seating areas to unwind and relax.

WHAT TO EXPECT-

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE COMMUNICATE ON YOUR RESERVATION PLATFORM.

TIP: Restaurants book up fast, so make reservations in advance. Also, most restaurants close early. Be ready to eat no later than 7:30-8 pm.

EXTENSIVE PARKING at the cottage. Walk through the gate to a stone walkway, four steps to a front door, and the uncovered patio. Please be cautious with weather variations, at times, the stepping stones and steps can be slippy.

1. ACCESS TO THE COTTAGE with the Black Master Lockbox to the right of the front door.
The lockbox code is frequently changed for all guests' safety. This will be updated on the site. Also, eufy cameras are located at the front and back doors, as well as, above the door of the garage. These are active video recordings for guests' safety.

2. ONCE INSIDE, on the main level, there'll be 2 additional keys on the table to the left of the coat rack. Return the key to the lockbox and use the spare keys provided. The Key marked "J" is for the front and back doors. The other Key is marked, "JB" for the basement door only.

*TO PRESERVE THE BEAUTIFUL HARDWOOD PINE FLOORING, PLEASE REMOVE SOILED OUTDOOR FOOTWARE. Feel free to bring your slippers for comfort and ease of mobility.

4. WELCOME GUIDE FOUND ON THE LIVING ROOM OTTOMAN. The notebook will have a lot of information including Wi-Fi password etc.

PLEASE ONLY USE THE SUPPLIES, LINEN, AND TOWELS NECESSARY TO MAKE YOUR STAY COMFORTABLE. THANK YOU!

*FRIENDLY REMINDER WHILE OUTSIDE- Please always be RESPECTFUL OF QUIET HOURS FROM 10 PM-7 AM. Sound carries easily with Whychus Creek.

*PLEASE LEAVE THE RUKU TV REMOTE ON THE OTTOMAN. PLEASE, DO NOT SIGN OUT OF THE STEAMING ACCOUNTS (NETFLIX, AMAZON PRIME, YOUTUBE, DISNEY PLUS, SPOTIFY, PANDORA). IT WILL PREVENT OTHERS FROM ENJOYING THE FREE ENTERTAINMENT.

NOTE: IF MAX HBO NEEDS A CODE TO WATCH ADULT MOVIES THE CODE IS 6327.

5. WIFI PASSWORD IS FOUND IN VARIOUS AREAS. REFER TO YOUR RESERVATION.

6. QUICK WELCOME GUIDE IN THE NOTEBOOK.

7. BLACK MASTER LOCKBOX CODE- will be sent to you on the morning of your arrival.

8. CENTRAL HEAT AND AC IN THE ENTIRE COTTAGE. The NEST THERMOSTAT.

THE THERMOSTAT IS SET TO ECO WHEN NO ONE IS IN THE HOME FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY. WILL AUTOMATICALLY TURN ON WHEN SOMEONE PASSES BY.

*TO CHANGE THE TEMPERATURE GENTLY MOVE THE DIAL TO THE LEFT OR RIGHT, GENTLY PRESS DOWN, AND MOVE TO THE DESIRED TEMPERATURE. TO THE RIGHT IS HEAT(RED) AND TO THE LEFT IS COOL( BLUE). THE SETTING IN THE SUMMER WILL MOST LIKELY BE SET FOR AC ONLY. PRETTY SELF EXPLANATORY.

*Summer months upstairs can get a little warmer than the lower levels. Close the blinds during the hot summers or use the fans provided. Or open the screened windows in the evenings.

*PLEASE NOTE- WHILE THE AC IS RUNNING, THE BASEMENT IS THE COOLEST AREA. IF NEEDED, PLEASE LOOK AROUND FOR EXTRA BLANKETS AND THERE ARE PORTABLE HEATERS.

*PLEASE NOTE: THE CEILING OF THE BASEMENT IS BEING RENOVATED. IT IS COVERED AND THIS AREA IS CLEAN.

9. FIREPLACE SWITCH IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE. PLEASE TRY TO CONSERVE ENERGY WHEN NOT IN THE ROOM. PLEASE TURN OFF WHEN LEAVING THE COTTAGE OR GOING TO BED. THANK YOU!

10. ON THE MAIN LEVEL OF THE COTTAGE- There are two spacious bedrooms with queen-sized beds, plenty of closet space, and dressers for your belongings. Mirrors are in each room. One is a long-length mirror. The other mirror is a smaller wall mirror.

*WOODEN BLINDS THROUGHOUT THE COTTAGE. They are fragile! Please shut with care.

* VINYL BLIND ON THE FRENCH DOOR IN ONE OF THE BEDROOMS. PLEASE LEAVE DOWN AND ONLY USE THE HANDLE TO OPEN AND CLOSE.

12. MAIN LEVEL FULL BATHROOM. With a clawfoot tub and a modern shower head. Please leave the shower curtain inside the tub to prevent water damage. Also, switch on the fan when showering.

* BATH MAT, AND SAFETY BAR available.

13. CLOSET UNDER THE STAIRCASE: Vacumn cleaners, brooms, and wood floor cleaners. Please do not use water on the hardwood floors, only bona provided.

14. HALL CLOSET: Many things are available for your use. Just take a look and you may very well find it in there.

15. SPACIOUS LIVING ROOM WITH LARGE SECTIONAL WITH SLEEPER. Gas fireplace to enjoy. RUKU TV various streaming options and surround sound.

*LIVING ROOM OPENS UP TO A WELL-STOCKED KITCHEN and a lovely dining area with a breakfast nook, a gorgeous chandelier, and French doors to access the back deck.

*THE KITCHEN has various essentials to make a wonderful meal. coffee and tea station is available.

*Various condiments, some local favorite grilling spices, and cooking books. For those who don’t want to deal with dishes- Some paper plates, plastic cups, and utensils are in the cupboard near the breakfast nook.

-NO garbage disposal under the sink. Strainer in the sink. Please remove food debris from plates when using the dishwasher

16. DINING ROOM has enough chairs to seat 8 guests. 6 chairs for the dining room table and 2 breakfast-nook chairs.

*THE CHANDELIER switch is to the left of the breakfast nook. You’ll also see a fire extinguisher mounted on the wall.

* LIVE PLANTS sporadically placed. Please do not water them. Just enjoy the fresh air and ambiance.

17. SMART VOICE found in the dining room near the plants. Just say, "HEY go...gle", and the base will light up and ask anything ie.

18. UPSTAIRS YOU'LL FIND THE PRIMARY BEDROOM WITH A COMFY QUEEN BED, SITTING AREA, OFFICE AREA, AND FULL-SIZED BATHROOM WITH CLAWFOOT TUB.

19. THE UPSTAIRS PRIMARY BATHROOM is a bright beautiful space with travertine tile and clawfoot tub and a large walk-in shower with a modern shower head.


OPEN THE WINDOWS OR USE THE FAN WHEN BATHING OR SHOWERING.

*BE CAUTIOUS with the wet tile! TILE CAN BE SLIPPY WHEN WET. Feel free to use the bath mat provided.

20. OFFICE SPACE- You'll have privacy in the designated sitting area. Brisk internet connection for remote work. Skylight for natural lighting during the day.

21. 4TH SLEEPING AREA IS IN THE ENTIRE BASEMENT. SEPARATED BY A PARTIAL WALL
*THE KITCHEN DOOR SEPARATES THE KITCHEN FROM THE BASEMENT. THE STAIRS ARE STEP AND CARPARETED. A COMFY DOUBLE BED AND A TWIN BED ARE SEPARATED BY A PARTIAL WALL.

*PLEASE NOTE: THE CEILING IS IN RENOVATION BUT IS COVERED AND THE SPACE IS VERY TIDY AND CLEAN.*

*NOTE, SOUND CAN CARRY FROM THE ACTIVITY OF OTHERS ABOVE. CAN ALSO BE COOLER WHEN THE AC IS RUNNING

22. UTILITY ROOM IS IN THE BASEMENT. ON CONCRETE FLOORING. PLEASE LOOK AROUND. SAUNA TOWELS ARE LOCATED DOWN HERE.
KEEP SPACE CLEAN FOR OTHER GUESTS.

23. OUTSIDE: Voices can be carried with the Whychus Creek. Quiet hours are from 10 pm- 7 am. Thank you for being considerate of my neighbors and our community.

Uncovered deck at the front and back of the cottage with a large fenced yard. The back deck has an umbrella, picnic tables, a patio table, a bistro table, and a bench to enjoy. The Gazebo has lights that can be set on a timer. Or turn the timer to "2" or "4".

SAUNA AND HAMMOCK- The newest addition to the cottage is a WET/Dry SAUNA and a hammock. Please do not remove the instructions. Keep the sauna clean.
*If the reset bottom doesn't seem to turn on the sauna. Go to the electric panel by the Gazebo and look for the switch labeled sauna. Move to the right and then back to the left. Should stay in that position. Then try the sauna again.

WHYCHUS CREEK- "COLD PLUNGE" minutes behind the cottage.

DO NOT LEAVE ANY GARBAGE OR FOOD unsealed OUTSIDE. DO NOT FEED THE WILD LIFE! I've seen a raccoon a couple of times. The raccoons are clever and can be destructive.

24. CHECKING OUT INSTRUCTIONS- CHECK OUT IS 11 AM.

24 A- IF YOU'D LIKE A LATER CHECKOUT. PLEASE GIVE ME A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS. I will make every effort to accommodate you.

24 B- PLEASE REMOVE THE TOWELS AND LINEN USED. Place in the downstairs utility room or on the floor. Please only use what is necessary to make your stay comfortable.

24 C- IF THE SAUNA IS USED. Collect all belongings and keep the sauna clean for our next quests. Please wash the towels on the hottest setting on speed wash. If you are able, place them in the dryer before leaving. We appreciate you!

24 D. START TOWELS FIRST

24 E- START A LOAD OF DISHES IN THE DISHWASHER- The express wash is very efficient. Remove food debris first before placing it in the dishwasher.

24 F- CLOSE THE LIVING ROOM WOODEN BLINDS

24 G- MAKE SURE THE GAS FIREPLACE IS OFF AND ANY PROPANE TANKS ARE OFF

24 H- RETURN THE BBQ COVER WHEN COOLED.

24 I. IF YOU USED THE UMBRELLA, GENTLY FOLD DOWN ABOVE THE PATIO TABLE AND MAKE SURE IT IS WRAPPED TO STAND. RETURN THE COVER TO THE UMBRELLA.

24 J- CLOSE ALL WINDOWS, AND SKYLIGHTS, AND LOCK ALL DOORS.

24 K- RETURN THE REMOTE TO THE LIVING ROOM OTTOM.

24 L- RETURN THE SPARE KEYS TO THE SMALL TABLE NEAR THE COAT RACK

24 M- RETURN THE KEY TO THE BLACK MASTER LOCKBOX- if needed- Clear the box using the middle lower tab labeled “c”.
Then ENTER THE CODE AGAIN, PUSH DOWN ON THE UPPER TAB THEN HANG THE KEY INSIDE THE BOX.

24 N- CLOSE THE GATE when leaving
