Amazing outdoor space!
This home is very well kept up. It is well stocked with everything you need. The wood stove makes it nice and cozy. We love that it is backed up to forested land so no neighbors behind you. The outdoor space is amazing. The deck wrapped around most of the house with many tables, chairs, couches even a hammock. Our family enjoyed the many activities available to play in the outdoor space like horseshoes, volleyball, corn hole and basketball. We only have one complaint about the house and that is that the mattress in the upstairs master bedroom is so hard that it was difficult to sleep on. Overall, except for the mattress, we had wonderful 10 day stay. The quiet peaceful setting of the home made us feel like we were in our own little world.

East Meadow 39 Late July to Mid-August, 2022
Great location with lots of privacy in the East Meadow section of Black Butte Ranch. Excellent large outdoor deck with plenty of space for dinner and entertainment. Good two barbecue grills, one flat grill has huge capacity. Upstairs master bedroom has an outdoor porch with good second story views. Additional bedroom on second floor with three beds (two bunked) shares a bathroom with the master. Advertised as suitable for 7 adults, but we think 5 adults maximum much more reasonable--it depends on how cozy you want to be with your fellow family members/guests. Total home square footage not disclosed, but renters should know this. Downstairs bedroom has a king bed, but the room is cut-off, small, and its bathroom is tiny. Kitchen very compact and not well furnished: no electric beater, no large pitcher for water, and a small coffee maker (Mr. Coffee made 5 cups), though we did note a large Keurig coffee maker which we could not use. We would have appreciated a notebook with info about Black Butte Ranch, this home, and contact info about local assistance, though when we called Vacasa on an (800) #, a local person did come, and helped us with questions about the home. Once we made contact with this local person we started to enjoy our stay.

Mice and ant infestation
Really ended up being a 2 bdrm, as one room was unusable due to mice coming up through the floor. Also ants everywhere in the sparsely furnished tiny, tiny kitchen. Not a happy camper! Back to VRBO

Wait for outdoor weather!!
This is a super cute home. Great location near the entrance to Black Butte. We had 4 adults so the two king size bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect. Upstairs bedroom is the nicest with lots of storage options. Downstairs room could use a chest of drawers. Beds are comfortable. We were surprised to find a new stacking washer/dryer. It was a bit hard to figure out but we were happy to have it! We were also elated to find the new Keurig coffee machine. Luckily, we had brought one with us so we had the coffee pods for it. Both are great additions to the house. The outdoor spaces are amazing! Unfortunately for us, the weather was too chilly to enjoy them. Our only complaint is the acoustics in the house. If you are in the upstairs bedroom, you can hear every conversation downstairs as if the person was sitting on the bed. We didn't really have to use the kitchen. It's small but seems well appointed. We couldn't find any dishwasher soap so we washed our glasses by hand. We loved the gas fireplace which we used tons. Overall, the house was terrific!

PRIVATE AND COZY
INTERESTING DESIGN, PRIVATE BUT LOTS OF NATURAL LIGHT. EASY ACCESS TO FACILITIES. UPSTAIRS BED IS TOO HARD. KITCHEN NEEDS THE PENDANT LIGHT TO WORK AT LEAST IN WINTER AFTER DARK. SOME OF THE TOWELS NEED TO BE REPLACED. I DONT KNOW IF THEFT IS A CONCERN BECUASE I'VE NEVER RENTED OUT MY HOME, BUT THE KITCHEN COULD USE SOME BETTER COOKWARE AND GLASSWARE, ESPECIALLY WINE GLASSES.

Nice quiet and clean
The property was well located and private. The house was clean. There was an abundance of bath towels. The couch was comfortable. The TV was big and clear with plenty of options. We slept in the downstairs bedroom as it had window coverings. The bed was ok but not great. The upstairs bedroom did not have window coverings so we decided not to use it though it looked nice. The upstairs bed felt hard and appeared to be memory foam. The upstairs bathroom and shower we used and appreciated. The gas fireplace was easy to figure out though no instructions were found. The kitchen was not well appointed. Meaning the coffee pot was a joke and did not have the correct filters and we couldn’t find a tea kettle for boiling water. Most of the pots and pans were Teflon type. The only instructions about the house was what not to put down the toilet. Overall we had a nice relaxing getaway.

Had some issues
Beware of $9 per person, per day fee charged by Black Butte Ranch "to access recreational facilities". Nothing was said on the VRBO website about this mandatory charge and we only received an email from Vacasa 7 days before check-in that there was one -- past the window to cancel...... One would think that you would pay the fees as you used the facilities, not to get in the gate. There were 7 of us our in party and 4 went swimming twice for an hour each time. Due the math, that is $252.00 for use of the pool for 2 hours. House needs a deep cleaning. I cleaned the burnt food off glass stove top. We vacuumed the corn chips off the living room floor. Several recessed lights burnt out. Notified Vacasa but no one appeared to replace. Front door is awkward and quirky to open and close. You never really are sure it is closed and locked.

Beautiful spot
This house is beautiful! The views from every single room are awesome, including partial views of Black Butte itself. Beds were very comfy. Deck wraps almost all the way around the house so you can follow the sun all day long and plenty of chairs/tables. Feedback for the managers would be that the front door is sticky and tricky. It opens out (not in like most entry doors) and catches quite a bit at the bottom. Also, the internet password I was given was wrong by one letter but I was able to guess the correct one. I would stay here again, but not with children as the open concept/lack of curtains on almost all windows is a bit challenging.
