This premier 5 bedroom plus den, 4 bathroom 4000 sq ft home on the 15th fairway of the Big Meadow Golf Course is a perfect getaway offering a floor plan that provides privacy for multiple families.

Main floor:
Large yet warm and cozy, the great room features a two-sided fireplace, two dining areas, leather couches, TV, and a spacious, modern kitchen with a large center island, tile floor, cherry cabinets and granite countertops. Beech hardwood floors with area rugs are featured throughout. Large windows and skylights provide an abundance of natural light. A large deck with gas fire pit, outdoor dining table, gas bbq, and hot tub surrounds the house with lots of space for outdoor cooking, hanging out by the fire pit, or lounging while enjoying views of the fairway.

Also on the main floor is a den with a 180-degree view of the golf course and easy access to the hot tub. It features a fireplace, eating area, wet bar and a large TV. This is a place to “get away” from it all.

Just off the great room is a well-situated bonus room/bedroom. It has two twin beds and a bunk bed, along with a TV. A separate bath with sauna is in close proximity to the great room and this bedroom. In the back is an adjoining private bedroom with a king bed, full bath and access to the outside deck. The laundry area is also on the main floor.

Upper Floor:
Upstairs are 3 very large bedrooms with comfortable king beds, one of which also has a comfortable queen bed as well. The largest of these is the primary bedroom which has a deck looking out over the 15th fairway and green, a walk-in closet, and its own beautiful bath with granite counters, a tub, separate shower and cherry cabinets.

Big Meadow Lodge
Wonderful house with a great view. Bedrooms were nicely sized and 5 full bedrooms. Bonus room was just that, a nice room away from others. Kitchen spacious and having two dining areas came in handy. Always enjoy a hot tub.

Great house for a large group
Group of girlfriends did our annual trip and stayed at this great house. We loved the open layout/kitchen, the cozy TV room, and the two dishwashers! All of the beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. Would stay again!

Boys Poker Trip
This was our annual poker trip, and all seven of us enjoyed the property. The entire house was very clean, has great artwork throughout (nice touch), and a very well stocked kitchen. All the beds were comfortable, with plenty of pillow choices, and nobody complained of poor sleep (a first for the group)! The outdoor space was very relaxing and had many areas to enjoy the property from, plus a top notch hot tub. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with...we will be back!

Great large house on the Big Meadow Golf Course
This house is setup very well for large groups of friends and family with children. Large gathering areas and plenty of beds and bathrooms. Nice back deck overlooking the 15 hole. Very well setup kitchen for meal prep for a large group. We will definitely be returning to this property.

fantastic get away
The home was well layed out, with loads of space for 3 families (12 people total) to enjoy all the amenities. The sauna was a favorite and the kids loved playing games together all over. Easy to use kitchen with rooms for everyone. We look forward to coming back for years to come! Great communication with good instruction from owner. highly recommended!

Beautiful Home with lots of amenities!
Went there with a group of Ladies. The house is spacious and very well stocked. The owners were very responsive when we called with any questions. We enjoyed seeing the deer wandering through the backyard. The only downside was dodging golf balls on the back deck on the 15th fairway (maybe a net could be installed).

There Is A Place…
We love Black Butte! The layout of this home was a little different but served our family well-6 adults and 3 small children. The kitchen is well equipped with an extra refrigerator in the garage. The dishwasher seemed to take a very long time to complete cycle.

Overall GREAT layout house property!
All 5 couples loved this property! Great accommodations! Lots of accessories available in the kitchen as well as many towels. Apparently there was a fill in housekeeper and there were MANY areas very DIRTY for some rea sd on. Not real acceptable. Disappointed in that aspect when you expect total cleanliness! We definately left it cleaner than when we arrived!

Fabulous house!
10 of us stayed here for a family wedding. We really loved everything about the house but especially the kitchen and living room area. The pics do not do it justice. It was a large open space with a two sided fireplace. Plenty of wood - so the ambiance was great with a fire in the fireplace. The art work on the walls was so interesting and beautiful. Posters from Sisters folk concerts to northwest scene paintings and interesting flat sculptures. The kitchen was nicer than I have ever seen in a rental and had everything we needed. I wish we could have stayed more than 4 nights!

Great Stay in Black Butte
Great house right on the golf course. Our boys had a great time playing whiffle ball and soccer on the course in the evening. Kitchen was great and nice overall feel to the main level. Only thing that was weird is the the kids room on the first floor does not have a window that opens and the door to the outside is blocked by the bunkbeds. This is a fire hazard plus hard to get some fresh air into that room. Also I would take out the TV in that room and put in a dresser since the closet is locked. Owner was great a communicating. Overall good stay.

Perfect Golf Tournament Home
This was a wonderful home to accommodate a large family or groups. All the photos were very accurate in what to expect! The large home was just perfect to sit and relax on both decks, whether watching golfers at the 15th or enjoying the hot tub. It was very well-stocked with extras like zip lock bags, foil, etc. The main bedroom upstairs had a lovely deck and view and lots of space with a separate tub/ shower. The two other upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom but are very large for families with kids. The towels were of high quality and there were plenty of hot tub towels (although they could be stored on the main level closer to the hot tub.) We searched until we found them on the second floor. We would love to return as a family. Communication was also very efficient. Thank you for a wonderful home. The living space was so beautiful and open to the kitchen which allowed for a great entertainment space while prepping and cooking. Thank you for sharing such a comfy home.

Family Get A Way
Our 3rd visit with our children and grandchildren. We were pleasantly surprised too see the new t.v.'s and patio furniture. This home is spacious enough to find your "own" space..we love doing puzzles in the family room, or viewing one of their d.v.d's (a great selection). The kitchen,dining and deck are large and great for your gatherings. The three upstairs bedrooms are very spacious. The home is located off a cul-d-sac, (great for the youngsters biking), or games on the fairway after the golfers are finished. Black butte ranch has done a great job in providing activities for the young or old. We have rented several homes in BBR and this is definitely our favorite. The owner was very helpful with any questions, and has a local contact for any of your immediate needs.

christmas vacation
We spent a week this Christmas in this lovely Black Butte home. The kitchen was huge, wonderfully supplied, more than enough paper products (considering the amount of garbage my family can produce, that was important). The beds were oh so comfortable! Plenty of towels, firewood, plates, glasses, etc.. I know these houses are huge and in the time of covid surfaces are critical, but the floors were not terribly clean, the shag area rugs hadn’t been well vacuumed, mop boards in bathrooms were dirty....that is the only possible negative complaint. We would definitely rent again! This is right on the golf course and there was enough snow for the kids to build a huge snowman. Wished for more but no such luck.

Family reunion
Nine of us stayed a week. (75, 70, 45, 42, 42, 12, 10, 9 and 9. The property was mostly as advertised by all the previous reviewers: great location, spacious, very comfortable, well equipped with just about everything you would want or need. The kids loved playing golf on the 15th hole in the ev3ning after the golfers were done. Bring your own popcorn popper if you prefer that over microwaved popcorn. The hot tub was the best one I’ve ever used and worked great. Only demerits are for superficial cleaning (broken glass in kitchen swept under edge of refrigerator, dusty smelling bed spread on my bed and many nooks and crannies, sides of dressers, under beds, etc. have dust and debris collected) and the washing machine and dishwasher need replacement.

What a great home...
We had unique requirements since we're a bunch of overworked nerds all getting together without spouses for a long weekend of drinking beer, playing board-games, and relaxing. This house is a wonderful space for a large get together! The kitchen is AMAZING, it is well stocked with gear and basics. The house slept 8 adults solo (3 or 4 of the beds would have been good double occupancy as well) very well. Our 9th didn't sleep great because the last bed (an old sleeper-sofa) isn't fit for anyone over the age of 5, and should be on it's way out the door and replaced with another futon or something. The WIFI works great now (we fixed it for the owners, they had two devices using the same broadcast channel killing the connections... No charge! ) and the hot-tub is also a winner. The fireplace in the main room was also a huge win for us, and something that we had running pretty much the entire time we were there. I gave the house 5 stars in-spite of the sleeper sofa, and broken (but now fixed) WIFI. It's a wonderful home.
