This modern, treehouse cabin at Black Butte Ranch is the perfect family retreat. Enjoy all the ranch has to offer: 6 different pools (including Paulina which is a 5 min. walk from our cabin), rec centers, hot tubs, golfing either of the two courses, horseback riding, hiking, biking, paddle boarding, and close proximity to outdoor fun, such as HooDoo Ski Resort. Looking to veg-out? Enjoy our floor to ceiling window view of the meadow through the forest trees or relax on one of our two decks.
Black Butte Ranch is a place like no other: it is filled with endless activities in all seasons, nestled within views of mountain ranges that can be enjoyed from a distance or explored up close. There is something for everyone: relaxation, adventure, a chance for solitude, and opportunities to connect with loved ones.
While staying at the Miradero Cabin at Black Butte Ranch, amenities such as the pools, hot tubs, fire pit, tennis and pickle ball courts, the spa, and fitness center are included with access fee paid at the Welcome Center. (Please see the House Rules for more details on this).
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS @ the CABIN:
There are two private queen bedrooms with doors--one on the main level & one downstairs.
The sleeping spaces with the twin beds are in the loft (2 twins) and the downstairs living room (a twin daybed with a twin trundle beneath it).
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES:
Check-In: 4 PM
Check-Out: 11AM
HOWEVER, you can arrive earlier than that and begin enjoying the pools, horse stables, restaurants, golf courses, etc. anytime that day once you have checked in at the Welcome Center. And, I will gladly let you know if the cabin is ready earlier than 4 PM.
CHECK-IN POLICIES & AMENITIES AT THE RANCH:
Black Butte Ranch requires all guests to register at the Welcome Center at the beginning of their stay. As part of your booking, you have already been pre-registered at the Welcome Center in order to make the process more expedient for you.
On the day of arrival, ALL adults who are driving vehicles while staying at the ranch must check-in with the Welcome Center. They will receive a special access code to the community. To do this, they will need to provide their vehicle license plate number and drivers' licenses.
Registering guests provides the community with security and grants guests access to all of the amenities at the ranch: the rec centers, pools, hot tubs, and workout facilities. At check-in, the Welcome Center will inform guests of any activities occurring during their stay and will provide a map to the home.
Resort amenities at the ranch, such as the rec centers, pools, hot tubs, and workout facilities are included in your stay.
CHECK-OUT POLICIES:
Guests will be charged for an additional day if not checked out by designated time.
Standard checkout cleaning list: leave used beds unmade for housekeeping, start a load of towels, run dishes, gather and empty garbages in outside can.
PARKING:
ONLY 4 vehicles are allowed at this property.
NO PARKING on the deck out front.
There are planters set out to mark the division between the deck and the driveway.
Please park in the driveway only. Black Butte Ranch prohibits street parking.
CAUTION: During the winter months, the steep driveway may be icy.
Parking on the roadway is prohibited by Black Butte Ranch.
PETS:
Up to TWO dogs (max weight of 30 lbs each) are allowed with fee, calculated when booking.
This fee covers the extra expense charged by housekeeping when a pet has been on the premises to ensure that it is cleaned thoroughly for future guests who may have allergies.
Because many guests have severe pet allergies & in order to preserve furnishings in the home, please do not allow dogs on the furniture.
Extra damages due to pets will result in charging the $1000 security deposit in order to cover the costs it would require to repair/replace them.
GARBAGES
Please place all garbages in the outside cans; one is labeled for recycling & the other is labeled for trash.
If you run out of room for garbage in the cans, please do not leave it on the deck to avoid animals getting into garbage.
ENTERTAINMENT
The kitchen has an Apple Sound Pod to make meal prep more enjoyable--connect via bluetooth.
The downstairs common area has a TV & sound bar; both have labeled remotes for your convenience.
The Roku remote allows guests to access streaming services on Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, and AppleTV.
Please keep the remotes in the room where they were found.
Guests will be responsible for replacing a missing remote.
BBQ
Please see the instructions for how to use the Traeger grill.
Please clean the grill after each use.
There is a spray and brush inside the grill's storage cabinet, which is part of the BBQ unit.
DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR/NO PARTIES
Excessive noise/parties will result in fines up to $500 per day.
Owner reserves the right to expel guests from the house for any disruptive behavior, including but not limited to climbing on the roof, discharging fireworks, using illegal substances, etc.
If forced to leave prior to planned stay at the Miradero Cabin, guests will not be refunded.
If no remaining days are planned, guests will pay $500 as liquidated damages for violations.
Maximum occupancy for the home is 8 guests.
The parking areas cannot be used to sleep extra guests.
No weddings, receptions, parties, or other group functions without owner consent.
Acceptable Use: extended family trips, corporate retreats, church retreats, responsible adults 25 years and older.
NO SMOKING
Please do not smoke inside.
There will be a minimum fee of $500 and forfeiture of the home without refund if this rule is violated.
You may smoke out front or on the deck with the door closed.
CANCELLATION
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in.
If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in.
After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in.
No refund after that.
EXCESS DAMAGES
If damages exceed the Security Deposit, guests will be billed additional charges and responsible to pay within 30 days.
We reserve the right to charge your credit card for damage, theft, or special cleaning required due to damages outside normal wear and tear.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
The security deposit is $1000.
If there are any reported damages, missing items, citations, or extra cleaning within 14 days after guest use, the security deposit of $1000 will be charged to the original method of payment.
MAINTENANCE
Owners shall make every effort to keep the house, its systems, and appliances well maintained.
Owners will repair any appliances upon notice from guests.
Owners shall not be liable for any failure(s) of any system or appliance in the house.
ACCESS
Owners, along with agents, are allowed access to the house and land upon at least 24 hours notice to guest through property manager by phone, writing, or in person.
This includes, but is not limited to, plumbers, electricians, rental companies, pest inspection, etc.
Refusing entry may result in termination of the rental agreement and forfeiture of security deposit.
CLEANING & SAFETY
Prior to your arrival, the home was professionally cleaned to the highest standards with eco-friendly products that are sensitive to those with allergies.
For any light cleaning you would like to do during your stay, supplies can be found under the kitchen & bathroom sinks as well as in the laundry area downstairs (the broom is beside the fridge).
The first aid kit & fire extinguisher are above the refrigerator in a cabinet.
