"Absolutely perfect, lovely hosts, nothing too much trouble, location, breakfast and property amazing. I can see why a lot of people say they would have stayed for longer because we were the same. Was a one night stay as we were travelling on but if we had the opportunity we would have stayed for longer. Would 100% stay again should we be in the area."

"The lovely host at this property is so accommodating. Our breakfast each morning was laid up for us right outside our room. The bed is so comfy and the outside areas including the pool are beautiful. The views are amazing. Tea and coffee facilities and a fridge are available but we would have appreciated a cork screw and a little more information about local villages and market days. "

"had a great stay in this charming little village. this auberge is somewhere you would want to spend your hotel money on. much better than a boring chain. big room, clean and new bathroom, super nice terrace facing the ancient bell tower to work on your laptop in the morning. Strongly recommend anyone whos visiting Sisteron to stop here. public parking is right next to the property. "

"The property was so quaint with a rustic charm. The hostess was fabulous and very helpful with recommendations. The rooms were clean and tidy, beds very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. A very good place to decompress after Paris.!The lavender fields in nearby Valensole are breathtaking! For the price you can’t beat it. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and were glad it was the place where we had chosen to spend a couple of nights as it gave us a chance to spend time in the local village and relax at the hotel. The proprietor is very attentive to guests and we felt well looked after during our stay. The breakfast was wonderful. The pool was a little cold (September) but of a good length for swimming and poolside looked good for sun-bathing. The room was pleasant; wifi reception is not the best in the...

"Arrivée sur place, il n'y a personne. Je suis arrivée à trouver à l'extérieur une dame très mal aimable pour me renseigner et qui a téléphoné au responsable qui a fini par arriver. La phrase qui fait plaisir à entendre quand cette dame a téléphoné: "et en plus elle a un chien" !!! D'ailleurs voir la photo de ce qu'ils ont mis à l'entrée. C'est compliqué pour avoir un petit déjeuner, a tel point que je n'ai pas pu en prendre puisque même pas de lait pour avoir un chocolat. Sinon la chambre...

"We loved it and the pool was greatly appreciated. A great location for exploring the region...we were out and about five days a week and explored villages, the countryside and what it had to offer. Loved the wildflowers, and later the lavender and the sunflowers. Only issues with the property were the flies, and the erratic wifi. And as older people with reduced mobility, the stairs and handrail were not the easiest. Thank you Anne for a lovely stay in your comfortable and well equipped...

"Wonderful house with excellent views. Very tranquil and peaceful. Superbly furnished and finished. Spotlessly clean. A little isolated though in that a car was essential to go anywhere; you can't walk to a restaurant, bar or shop. (Unless you're a very keen walker and don't mind walking along a main road). Friendly and efficient manager, although she can't speak English. She was appreciative though of my garbled attempts at French."
