"We were a group of 7 adults and had a nice weekend stay. The house was clean and well furnished and the outdoor area is great. When I contacted the host with questions a few days before our stay they got back to me quickly. The only negatives were: a few of the items they said were included in the listing were actually not (firewood, paper towel, no hand soap in the kitchen); the bathroom in the primary bedroom has a jetted tub but only a handheld attachment for showers (it is not mounted) which...

"Enjoyed a nice relaxing time with family and celebrating Thanksgiving. The house was awesome, and it reminded us of our farmhouse in Virginia. The big table allowed us to have a wonderful meal. We will defiantly use this house again when we visit."

"What a pleasant place for a large family to gather to enjoy time together. From the peaceful setting to breakfasts around the kitchen table to afternoons by the amazing pool, this property has it all. Located close to lots of great activities, this is a great place for a home base while you explore Lake Michigan, antique shopping, great restaurants, wineries, and more. Highly recommended!"

"Our group of 5 women (all 65+) had a great time. The pool was awesome, and the owner keeps it up nicely. The pool stairs and handrail are just what our group needed. Our host responded freaky fast when we had our one snafu (lighting the grill) so we had no problems at all. That being said, this is probably better suited for a young family due to a few smaller sized rooms and the stairs. We definitely appreciated having the privacy and the kitchen is well stocked, even for this picky group."

"My family and I rented this beautiful lake house and enjoyed the snow, some sledding, the warm fireplaces and just being together as a family. It was plenty big enough for all of us, the yard was perfect for the kids to run around and play in the snow, and the kitchen was great for our family dinners! Any questions we had were answered immediately and check in/check out was smooth because of the great communication we had throughout the process! We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come...
