The host was there to greet us when we arrived and provided very useful local information (e.g. when to catch buses) as well as toured us around the apartment to ensure we understood how everything worked."

"pros: location brilliant, lovely apartment, bathroom hot water etc perfect. cons: entrance stairs need painting and some of banisters loose. biggest issue was safe not working (and seemed been problem for a while). felt uncomfortable not being able to lock away passports etc and front door to apartments always open and you dont get a key for that"

"Despite all the steps, we had a great time. The property is not modern but was very clean. Maria and her son Daniel werewonderful hosts. They were very kind and gave lots of advice. The terrace, overlooking the sea, was a lovely place to sit and relax after days out"

"The only challenge is that the apartment is at the top of two flights of narrow, steep stairs, and there's another flight up from the bedroom to the living area. If that's not a problem then everything else is great. There's a balcony (view of the building opposite, but you're in the Old City!). The double glazing effectively blocks noise, the aircon works. Because you're in the Old City everything is just there .. loved it. "

"An amazing stay at if you’re looking to be in walking distance of everything Dubrovnik has to offer. 20 min walk to old town, 25 min walk to Lapad, small grocery at the top of the street. The VIEW is incredible from sunrise to sunset. Peaceful location away from busy streets and the hustle and bustle of the tourist hotspots. Tucked away just enough. I would highly recommended and will come back if we are ever in Dubrovnik again. "

"Just a note that the property is located in a hill . One thing to know for visitors is that Dubrovnik is hilly and the old town is for walking only. Vehicles are not allowed."
