"Well, if you want to visit Schaffhausen, and who wouldn't, this is certainly the place to stay if you are either driving on coming by train. The parking is next door, as is the station. Room was large, clean and comfortable and the hotel's restaurant/bar really nice. It is convenient to everything, and walking distance to all you would want to see. A fantastic place to visit and to stay. Would highly recomment do anyone."

"Lovely traditional German hotel with delicious food in a beautiful setting on the edge of the woods where you can spend hours walking and hiking. Our room may be been considered a mini suite, as it contained a very spacious sitting area as well as a balcony. "Pretty setting but we were there on a Sunday and there was very little accessible. Bathrooms are very tiny and hotel could use a facelift."

"Was a great stay. We had booked 2 “family” rooms that could hold 3-4 people as there were 7 of us. Something happened and they only had rooms that could hold 2 people. Since there were 7 of us, they gave us 4 rooms and free breakfast as a consolation. Very nice staff. "
