"Tolles Zimmer in einem alten Haus. Sehr ruhig, man hört nur das Plätschern des Flusses. 1 Minute zu Fuß zum Domplatz. Frühstück sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Es gibt nur 3 Zimmer. Sehr familiär. Das einzige, was etwas besser sein könnte, ist das WLAN. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Sackpfeifenmühle und kommen gerne wieder."

"We booked to stay at Haus Saarland am Rennsteig. On arriving at the hotel we found it was closed and a notice telling us to go to another hotel, Hotel Thuringenschanze which was about 0.5km away. Since we had arrived by public transport we had to walk there with our luggage. On checking in at the new hotel we were not offered Oberhof guest cards. This meant that we were unable to obtain the guest card discount when we visited the nearby SkiHalle. We asked to stay an extra night. We paid...

"Our family quite enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very clean and well-appointed and we enjoyed the comfortable common area with a kitchen and tables for eating and game playing. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating and live onsight so are generally very available. The location was perfect for us because we could easily walk into town for restaurants, shopping or playing in the snow. Oberhof itself offered everything we needed and wanted for a winter getaway including a top-notch...

"Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und eignet sich für Besucher 60+, die gerne in vergangenen Zeiten schwelgen. Modern ist anders. Es liegt im Tal, ist daher ziemlich dunkel. "Dominik was very helpful and responsive. The property is centrally located and it was easy to walk around the old city. My husband and I were very pleased with all aspects of our visit and would highly recommend a visit to Erfurt and this property. We hope to return to both."
