Room for improvement
I stayed in the property for almost 2 months. The room is extremely old. The fixtures and furnishings is also very worn down. The floor is peeling and scratched. The level of cleanliness is also quite poor i.e. the blinds are covered in dust. There also appears to be a pest infestation in the property / room - attracting ghost ants which can crawl onto you. The common areas are also barely usable - with ants crawling over the kitchen bench and sink. The only positive is the location - being within walking distance from MRT, shops and other conveniences. Overall, for the price the accommodation falls well below expectations - even for Singapore. The owner should consider updating the furniture and renovating the accommodation for a more comfortable stay given the price is reflective of a much higher standard of accommodation.
