Took the MRT from the airport to Kallang Station (EW10) & paid just S$1.59 using a prepaid EZ-Link MRT card I ordered from changirecommends.com for S$9. It’s better to arrive in SG late at night or early morning to avoid the heat & humidity. It’s like a toaster-oven during the day. Keep hydrated.
The elevator, although small, is quite fast. It can accommodate 3 people with big suitcases.
The room is small - about 8 x 10, with a high 12 foot ceiling. but as we were assigned the 8th level-room 805, there’s great view of the Singapore skyline from the window. It’s really small so expect to sort your stuff on top of the bed if you have a big luggage as there’s limited room to wiggle around.
The bathroom is about 4.6 x 4.6 ft. You shower on the same area where the toilet bowl & sink are – so bring a flip-flops. The shower pressure is great & hot water flow is great -- if you’re afraid of taking cold showers – which is ideal- in very hot & humid Singapore.
The ad says ‘non-smoking rooms’ but we smelled hints of nicotine in our room.
The hotel is very near Geylang Road which is dotted with cheap shops & eating places so before you head back to your room, get your snacks & drink from these shops & save a lot. They open early, too!
The bus stop in front of the hotel doesn’t service the places of interests so just use the Kallang MRT as your base or take the buses from Geylang Road avoid walking long distances in this very humid place.

Close to Kallang Metro station. Pleasant location opposite park.
I moved to this hotel after staying in a capsule hotel with shared bathroom for 2 nights. I couldn't stand it anymore and was so glad to move to Kim Tian Hotel Han. If you're looking for a nice, clean, basic room with private bathroom, then this hotel fits the bill. It was just what I needed and have been very happy with the stay there. It's situated in Geylang and is about a 10 minute walk from Kallang MRT station, which is well connected. There are loads of restaurants nearby and I made use of several restaurants that were on the way back from Kallang station to the hotel - they were always open late. There are also convenience stores nearby, which is useful if you need anything. Wifi was very good.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The hotel was a long walk away from the station, e air conditioning was way too cold and could not be adjusted. The water in the tiny thrombosis was very cold a would not warm up, hence a wash from the basin filled with hot water from the kettle. I could tell the receptionist was not interested in my concerns.
