Dirty beddings
Very dirty beddings and washrooms. We found layers and layers of different people’s hair on our beddings. It was in a good location if you are fun loving and if you enjoy going out at night for a drink and a bite.

The air conditioning is ONLY in the sleeping area, not the shower/bathroom area. It is barely cold enough, and when you shut your curtain to keep out the light at night, you block the AC from reaching your bed area. There is one toilet for the floor of around ten people, and two showers which open directly into shared area so nowhere to change. People did not respect the quiet hours during the weekend and continued to talk at points late in the night.

For a youth hostel, the place is fantstic. We all have a locker and a lot of space to place our stuff. The breakfast is not big but ok. And it's situated on the best street ever

They vacune my bed side with me sleeping , no respect I complain and they just say sorry , there was bed bugs and the surrounding area is full of bars and is noisy and dirty , the a/c is working on a very limited capacity and gets hot inside

This place is okay. If you’re looking for just a bed to sleep in it’s alright. The bed is not comfortable and the bathroom had no ac . It was so unbearably hot in the bathroom you couldn’t be in there for more than 2 minutes without dripping sweat. Our room ac wasn’t on when we arrived so the room was just as hot , thankfully the unit started to cool the room off by the time we went to sleep but the bathroom remained a sauna . The area is decent, walkable to clarke quay, metro, and some cute waterfront restaurants nearby. The staff were nice just didn’t have anyone at the desk most of the time.

The hostel itself is really nice, clean and well run but their is a club that places music across the street until 4 and then other venues play music through to the morning as well which made it impossible to sleep even with earplugs. We had the double room on the 3rd floor with the street-facing window. Other roomprobably aren't as bad.

Too noisy to sleep
Unfortunately this lovely hostel is located next to a night club. Felt like i was trying to sleep in a club. Earplugs didn’t help at all - Not even noise canceling earphones. If you want to sleep more than 4am to 9am I can’t recommend this place. If you don’t mind a 5 hour sleep then this place is very lovely and nice.

Delayed Planes, Hipstercity made sure the stay was
For a solo traveler wanting to explore two days in Singapore, Hipstercity fit my need perfectly. Unfortunately, my plane was delayed a day from overseas and I didn’t have a way to inform them. Many hotels would cancel your stay if you wouldn’t check in at the reservation time, but they left me a late check in form as well as a key when I arrived at 2am. Such a delight! Free earplugs, but there’s a chance that you may hear some really bad karaoke singing or throbbing bass from the bar downstairs late at night. There’s lots of activity in this area. FANTASTIC coffee in the lobby and some cereal and bread for breakfast. Hotel staff is super.

Worst experience I had in my life in any hotel. I was sick with hard diaharrea and I had to share a bathroom, that was out of paper very early in the night. I had to change to another hotel I order to not disturb the other clients of the hotel and to have a normal bathroom for somebody with diaharrea. I tried to talk with the hotel and have a refund but it looks that for the hotel is more important 200 USD than the commodity of the other people sharing the bathroom, they prefer somebody threw it up or having to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes and no paper to clean than returning those 200 USD and have all the clients happy. Really knowing how they treat me while I was really sick ( with proofs) I will never recommended nobody to stay here cause you could have in your shared room someone like me bordering you the whole day and the hotel doesn't care. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE the only black point in my excellent visit to Singapore

Tres bon emplacement mais climatisation trop forts
Tres bon emplacement, propre. Par contre, il faut vraiment diminuer la climatisation, il ne fait pas frais maisnil fait vraiment froid pour dormir. Nous avons du dormir habillé
