The Simsbury 1820 House is such a classic, quiet inn. There’s also a very good bar and restaurant. Comfort and good dining give the 1820 House an edge over many other options to stay in the Hartford area.

We loved our stay at the Simsbury House! We were wanting an authentic New England bed and breakfast experience, and we definitely got it here! The staff were very friendly, our room was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

This is an older facility with paint pealing off the walls in the hallway and windows that have broken ropes. There "stylish ". Beds are so high I had to borrow a step stool to get in. Staff is very friendly
