I would highly recommend the Hummingbird House as a wonderful place to stay in Silverton. There was plenty of room, and the kitchen was well equipped. Very walkable to everything in town.

We loved our stay at the Hummingbird House! Kids enjoyed the porch for hanging out and reading and we loved that we could walk to town, out to eat, to the store etc. Great little house!

Gorgeous winter vacation spot
We had a fantastic time at the Hummingbird house! We loved the little loft area and the living room was cozy and light-filled. It was easy to get anywhere in town and we especially enjoyed the cross country skiing nearby.

We loved our stay at the Hummingbird House. Two couples and one teen, and it was just right. Coffee on the front porch in the morning with a beautiful mountain view. Very pleasant place to stay. Thank you!

Christmas break

Lovely get-away
My boyfriend and I invited another couple for a 4 wheeling trip to silverton for 3 nights and the Hummingbird House was the perfect size for us. The property manager was quick to respond to questions, entry with the key code very easy. The Hummingbird is in a great location , right on the main street. We went 4 wheeling one day and drove over Red Mtn Pass to Ouray the next day for shopping, Ouray Brewery, and hot springs. My boyfriend loved the long driveway and says we will be back with our trailer/ATVs. Updated bath was lovely and the place was spotless. We really enjoyed our time here.

This was the cleanest property I have ever stayed at. Very antique, and cute. Coffee on porch with mountain view was great. The only thing I was not to crazy about was Million Dollar highway because it's the only way to town from Ouray. There was also clapping noise at night only during curtin time in one of the rooms. It sounded like a window or something was open on top and wind was pushing it back and forth. This house definitely looks better in real life than in pictures. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Historic home in down town Silverton
Cute historic home on the main street in Silverton. Easily walkable to stores and restaurants down town and also to the grocery store. Worked great for our weekend trip.
