"There were some minor issues which could have been avoided and I should not have had to raise with members of staff including: 1. No lemon for gin and tonics in the bar on two consecutive nights 2. Extremely slow service in the restaurant - the table next to us was offered a complimentary drink as a result but we were not 3. On one day the used towels were not replaced in the room even though they were put in the bath as requested 4. On both days the tea and milk was not replaced in the room and...

"Lovely views and gardens fabulously building inside and out. Sorry to say the breakfast was lawful l was not late for breakfast but no hot food everything was empty except cold Tomatoes half cook cold scrambled egg l though they would put more food out but no. No cups No cutlery tryed to make tea no milk. When my family came down they had the same exact the same experience. I don't feel it was the staff's fault as they seam to be under staffed. This is my second visit we loved everything else...

"Comfortable, quiet and clean. Quirky b&b. Slept very well after long drive and university open day. Walkable to town and the campus. Lovely breakfast!"

"The hotel is very good, the bar ,dining room very nice. Some of the bedrooms have been updated but there are still some to do. The updated rooms are fine but the others notso good. The staff are excellent and couldn't be more helpful. We will definitely stop here again."
