Christmas Family Fun in Silverton

Great visit for family fun at the Christmas Marketplace in Silverton. Loved the house-spacious and cozy…decorated warmly for Christmas. Walked to charming downtown restaurants and stores. Laurie is an amazing host!

Wonderful stay in Silverton

We were in the area for a wedding at Silverton Falls and had a fabulous stay at this historic home. The location is excellent with great restaurants, coffee shops annd cute vintage stores all within a 5 minute walk. The house is spacious with lots of olde world charm. We had our wedding preparations in the formal living areas and it was the perfect setting.

Silverton gem that felt like a dream!

Well stocked and very clean! This house was perfect for our big group because not only was it huge with plenty of space to share, but it was centrally located to everything that we needed. We enjoyed walking to dinner and visiting all the shops/bars. The charm of an older house had us swooning, but everything was updated quite nicely. The beds were incredible which was needed after the hiking we did in the area. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great family rental

We had a family wedding at silver falls state park. This house was 30 minutes away from the park and in the town of Silverton. We had 9 ppl in the house, never felt crowded and on top of one another. Backyard had lots of sitting for everyone and more! My best part, every bedroom had their own bathroom/shower..if visiting Silverton again, this will be my first choice for lodging.

Perfect Rental

Everything was perfect before and during our stay. Laurie was very easy to communicate with, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and very elegantly decorated and the best stocked vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. What a wonderful location to have the whole family stay for our son’s wedding. Truly the perfect house for staying in lovely Silverton.

Family Celebration

This place was perfect for our group of 8 to stay at & celebrate our son’s graduation. The home had a great dining area where we could gather for family meals & beautiful outdoor areas for relaxing. We even had a few deer visit us. I highly recommend this place!

Charming Place

This is such a beautiful historic home full of charm. It was perfect for our family to stay and near everything downtown Silverton has to offer. Lots of amenities, beautiful garden, well stocked kitchen and each room with an en-suite. It was a beautiful place to stay that is close enough to visit Silver Falls. Great hosts too!

Family Christmas

The home is beautiful and our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed the Oregon Garden light display, and there were many nice restaurants to eat at. I highly recommend this rental. The property manager/owner could not have been more pleasant and helpful. We made some great memories.

Salem 70.3

We had a group of seven 50+yr old adults to do the Salem half Ironman. Our stay was fantastic. Everyone was very comfy in their rooms and we had a blast during our group meals and especially after the event when we relaxed around the living room. The carriage housestorage was super critical for our bikes. The back porch was another hangout where we sat with a persistent deer who was not afraid to sit right with us.

Merchant Family Reunion

The house was perfect for our family. Being a Bed and Breakfast prior to a VRBO, each room had it's own bathroom which was greatly appreciated. We had 8 people in the house. We never felt crowded or in each others' way. The yard was well maintained and had great outdoor spaces. The interior had a nice size dining room and living room for us to stretch out in. The location was perfect being close to town and restaurants. Laurie, our host, was gracious and available for questions about the house and area. The house was well positioned between Salem, Camby, and Yamhill, all places we travelled for different family events. A great family reunion was had by all. We would definitely rent again! Carolyn

This place is a one of a kind historic Inn. It was wonderful. Plenty of room for our family group. Great communication with the host. Great location. Set up super! Will definitely stay again if we are in Silverton!

We really enjoyed having a home for a college graduation celebration with our family.

Our elderly parents were very comfortable on the main floor and our granddaughters (1 & 4) enjoyed a new place to explore and playing hide and seek! A great place for our family to gather together instead of being in multiple motel rooms! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.

What a WONDERFUL property!

This home was perfect for accommodating our entire family for our daughter's wedding at a nearby venue. The house was immaculate and stocked with everything we needed! We sat in the lovely gardens in the mornings and evenings, just perfect. Communication with the owner was top notch and this house, by far, is the best VRBO rental we've ever visited. Wonderful Stay

We love this house and the way it is set up for guests! It is perfect! Clean and neat and was beautifully decorated for the holidays! Comfortable and cozy for all! We had our whole family(9 adults, 2 kids). Well stocked kitchen! Silverton is a great little town as well. had fun walking and shopping. Food trucks and restaurants were also a plus. Victorian Secret

We needed the place for 3 different families. It fit us perfectly, even when we needed the add on apartment last minute. Laurie had someone come right away. Her communication was amazing and when we left jewelry in the hall, she shipped it right out as well! We can’t wait to come back!

Great house in a perfect location

We live in Bend and came to Silverton for my daughter's wedding. This house was perfect for my wife and our extended family. Things we liked were: - great location walking distance to downtown stores and restaurants - nice quiet, relaxing and shaded patio outback - separate bathrooms in each bedroom - well stocked kitchen. I like to cook and this was one of the few houses that had a nice set of knives and a gas stove - well stocked with consumables and extra refrigerator in the carriage house - Oregon Garden nearby was a very nice place for a walk Would definately stay here again if we visit Silverton!

Excellent Choice

Three couples enjoyed 5 nights in this wonderful, charming house. It fit our needs perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed, the dining and living rooms were comfortable for a group. The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. Each of the 5 bedrooms had its own appeal so it was difficult to pick between them. The grounds were delightful. Everything inside and out was well maintained. We simply could not have selected a better place for our Silverton getaway!

Amazing!

The perfect house! So beautiful inside and out! And the best part, among many was bathrooms in each room, so perfect for families! Also, walking distance to downtown restaurants and shopping. But the very, very best part was Laura the owner who went above and beyond with all my questions and concerns…she felt like a friend and that’s not something you usually get in a rental house. I can’t thank her enough! We made some beautiful memories and this house will always hold a special place in our hearts ❤️

Perfect!

The Water Street home is a lovely blend of the old and the new. The owners were obviously sensitive to the historic value of the house when updating it with all the modern conveniences that made our stay perfectly comfortable. Each bedroom has its own up-to-date bathroom with shower (or shower and tub). Had I not been on vacation, I would have enjoyed a day of cooking in the beautiful and roomy kitchen! Everything we needed was available to us--from microwave and gas stove to pancake mix and coffee. We took advantage of the pleasant outdoor areas, eating breakfast and napping on the back porch and reading and chatting on the front porch. We enjoyed short walks through Silverton's quaint downtown and a longer walk to the beautiful Oregon Garden. Our family of 7 plus two aunts stayed at the former inn during the week of our son's wedding. We all agree that this beautiful spacious home helped us create some great memories! Thank you to Laurie, who helped make our week easy and stress free.
