"From the pictures online to being out there it was beautiful! There are neighbors but the views are blocked and they dont bother you at all. Might get a visit from a friendly puppy that just stopped by to say hey! Didnt catch any fish that was disappointing but, enjoyed the grill, hot tubandfire pit, and surrounding areas. Host was absolutely wonderful, communication, helping qith a few processes, suggestions and just overall amazing! Overall this is a tiny slice of heaven for getting out! "

"Perfect base for exploring Mt Rainier NP! Everything as described, perfect location and everything you need away from home. Only complaint is Needs New Pillows! Beds are a bit firm but fine; the pillows were atrocious flat pancakes. Otherwise 5 stars."

"We stayed in Napavine for a few days while we looked at property (thinking about moving to the area). This was a great central location for us. We did get delayed by trains in the middle of town a couple of times. Overall, a good stay. Had an issue with the door code on arrival but it was corrected quickly. The owner is very responsive. The bed is very comfortable! Didn't cook much but the kitchen is well equiped with older, very cool appliances. We enjoyed our stay. "

"This was an excellent getaway for our family of 5 (two adult and 3 kids ages 7 & 8). Our kids loved sleeping in the loft area. The owner has truly thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was rainy and cool for most of the weekend but the overhead heaters made the outdoor patio the perfect place for a cup of coffee. Lots of wildlife sightings too - deer and two bald eagles. "We absolutely loved our stay here! Nice piece of property. Beautiful mountain views, very peaceful. It’s an hour away from Mount Rainier however this is where you want to be especially during the busy months when the cars are lined up to Ashford. We enjoyed the privacy, fires in the evening after a long hike and our kids loved going home to Carlos and the cute cows. We had deers and elk visiting one night also. The house is chic & nicely decorated, loved the kitchen! I would highly recommend!"

"We traveled from Texas, Nevada an California to attend a Family Reunion. This home met all our needs for group that ranged in age from 4-88 and a pet. Very clean and homey. The kids loved the play room and kids bedroom. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Hosts were very responsive."

"The pool and hot tub were closed down for maintenance. The recreation center was closed due to vandalism. The arts and craft center had a fire and was shut down for the season. The grounds looked unkept and there was a sewer smell "

"We arrived after a crazy flight into Portland from California and our son joined us by driving from Ashland OR. There was a charming Christmas tree and fireplace mantle decor waiting for us. So cheery after the bleak dark drive through Vancouver to get groceries.The lighting in the bathroom was a delightfull surprise and the towels and layout were charming and peaceful. The touches of purple were so welcome..I love the quick coffee set up and the pods were perfect. Don't forget your creamer.We all loved the beds, especially the king in the mastter bed. I especially liked the pretty mirror set up in the closet. It was attractive and clever.Our only tiny tiny issues were that the inflatable Xmas decor was too close to the parking space and I almost ran it over several times trying to put 2 cars in the park space and the exterior lighting could be better served from solar or motion sensors. Other than that it was PERFECT.We plan on reserving in the future because our daughter lives over in Salkum and it is a big bummer to stay in a creepy hotel in Centralia.This is an answer to prayer."
