Alpaca Paradise & Alpaca Experience!
"Alpaca Paradise" is not only a wonderful hands on alpaca and Scottish highland experience, but a serene night's rest on a 53 acre ranch, what we call our little piece of paradise. Contact me @ (970) 274-0853 to schedule your one on one time with the alpacas!!! Sopris Alpaca Farm is only 10 miles to Rifle State Park, a beautiful triple 70' waterfall flowing over on East Rifle Creek. Enjoy hiking the trails & exploring the caves. We are a short 17 minute drive to Glenwood Springs, an outdoor enthusiast's haven. The world's largest hot springs, great skiing, many hiking trails, including our gorgeous Hanging Lake.
This house also has an upstairs unit. Please be respectful of noise level. This unit is in the bottom half of a home. It is bright and cozy and has its own entrance. Because of not being able to completely control the guests upstairs, there may be higher noise levels at times. We do have ear plugs and noise machines in each bedroom to help with the noise. Also, being in the bottom level, it is cooler. We have heaters and extra space heaters if needed in the unit. This Vrbo sleeps 5, any unapproved guests may be asked to leave.

Such a cute place. Very clean, well decorated, and super comfy. The property is huge and hanging out with the Alpacas and mini cows was magical. Communication with Kim was quick & flawless. Would definitely stay again.
Communication with the host was quick and responsive. Overall, clean but minor wear and tear. Jacuzzi tub was out of order. Long hallway, laundry, pack n play and high chair all made for a very family, friendly stay! The alpacas were fun for a unique place to stay near Glenwood!
The house was clean and cozy with comfy beds. My kids loved going and seeing the cows and alpacas every morning and before bed, and really loved the farm cat that came to see them. Great, quiet, secluded, location conveniently located in between Rifle and Glenwood Springs, the two places we had activities planned. Didn’t do a ton of cooking but kitchen had all we needed. If we are able to make it to Glenwood Spring again we will definitely be booking here again! Thanks for everything.
We stayed here for one night on our colorado family road trip. We booked the upper property as well. We mainly stayed upstairs but this basement property had enough rooms to accomodate another group. Very nicely decorated. We mainly used the extra batbroom.
We love the property. The only problem we had was Waze took us into the school parking lot first and we had a nice tour of the school and the grounds. I then realized it was the next driveway. The alpacas were fun. Very friendly. The house left a bag of kibble in our unit to feed the alpacas with. They had a great alpaca gift shop.Something to note, one of the units is actually a basement unit. It does have windows so it does let light in, but it is below another unit and is a basement unit. It was beautifully decorated, and all the amenities were there. The host and hostess were extremely responsive and delightful. We will definitely return. It was a lot of fun. We also spent a day at rifle Falls, which was beautiful. We can’t forget the two hairy cows. Ferdinand and Daisy May.
Great stay! Cozy and spacious with beautifl sunsets and privacy! Hidden from the noise and commotion is a great place to get away! The Alpacas were icing on the cake!
Wonderful stay! Kim and Cory have a beautiful property and really think of every detail! We had so much fun with the alpacas, Ferdinand and Daisy Mae. 10/10 recommend for a family trip or just some R&R!
Such an adorable place to spend the weekend. The lower level residence was perfect for us. The alpacas were so cute and the little cows were adorable! Hosts were very welcoming and we’d love to go back in the future!
My friends and I had a truly wonderful stay at the farm. The hosts were very welcoming. We stayed in the downstairs apartment which was clean and comfortable. The owners of the farm let us into the pen to feed the alpacas. It was a peaceful setting. We would go back again.
What a great place! 100% recommend the stay here. The house was lovely and very comfortable. The owners were delightful and the alpacas were such a wonderful treat. The only downside was that the lower level (where we stayed) was VERY noisy when there were other occupants above. I'm pretty sure there was a family with a few small children staying above and the kids ran everywhere. No fault of the property owners, of course, but be prepared for the possibility of noisy neighbors.

A 10 does not rate this property high enough. Everything was clean and so tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable and the alpaca experience was simply awesome. I highly recommend this property.
