"Beautiful hotel and clean. There must be a roof leak because there were black rings in the ceiling of our room and had a wet smell. Staff was very friendly and helpful but we had to walk a ways to catch a Tuk Tuk. Restaurant food was good as well."

"Absolutely appalling experience! The hotel prioritized an event, booking every room except ours. The event overtook the pool area with blaring music and screaming girls for over 5 hours, making it unusable. To make matters worse, we discovered uncleaned feces behind the toilet in our room and rats scurrying around the main pool area. Despite our complaints to the staff, the noise was unbearable, even on the top floor, drowning out the TV. We were forced to leave the resort and spend hours elsewhere to escape the chaos. The noise continued until after 11 pm, ruining our stay. We had an overnight stay here before our 17hr journey home. We strongly advise against this resort - the lack of consideration for guests and unsanitary conditions make it a place to avoid at all costs!"

"Due to a huge flight delay, we did not arrive until 4:00am. We called the hotel from Korea and notified staff of our very late arrival. They held our rooms and were ready for us when we arrived. We really appreciated their help with all of our luggage! The room was comfortable with AC that worked terrifically. We stayed in a villa next to the pool and enjoyed sitting in the chaise lounges each morning. Breakfast was awesome with a good variety. Make sure to visit the pool on the top floor…we didn’t discover it until our last day. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Thanks for the wonderful stay!"

"Sok Sabay is a beautiful oasis but outside the confines is garbage and skeletons of buildings that were started then abandoned before finished. The restaurant in the resort was a real surprise with Khmer and French influences. Staff can’t do enough for you. The resort could use some maintenance but for money it’s a bargain and if I ever returned to Cambodia I’d stays again on way to islands. The Otres beaches are within walking distance. Beware US Dollars is king in Cambodia but you must have new money with no creases or tears. Credit cards not widely accepted and experienced many broken ATM’s. "
