Plenty of space around the accommodation for the children to explore/ go sledging. Also conveniently located for whale watching from Dalvik "

" The Salt Guesthouse is very clean, nicely updated decor. Rooms aren’t huge, but that was to be expected. Linens on the bed are bright white, clean & crisp. The whole hotel is very clean. Walls are a little thin, but guests adhere to the quiet times, so that was no problem. Some very nice dining options close by, everything is very walkable. The drive here was spectacular! I’d recommend this place. "

"We booked a few nights at the Hidden Cottage and simply loved the place! The cottage is located not far from a village, in a pretty countryside area. The house had everything you needed and the cottage was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. My 13 year old son particularly appreciated the soccer field we had access to!  I recommend this place during your stay in Iceland!"
