"We booked and stayed 1 night in this very cute on the beach cabana. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We had a beautiful view and enjoyed the ocean waves all night. As a bonus we were invited to have coffee the next morning with the host and they shared a lovely breakfast of freshly made tortillas and cheese creme & veggies."

"Nice small house to stay. Having a cook to prepare the delicious meal is great! Doris the manger, was nice to work with and very accommodating. Bedrooms are air conditioned. It would be nice to have a small cooler there for guests with small bottle of drinking water and soda. Thank you so much for the wonder relaxing time away I needed."

"This villa is a dream come true. We loved the clean and comfortable rooms, we swam a lot in both the lap pool and family pool, and loved the local home cooking from housekeeper Maria. And don't forget your binoculars if you’re a birder, theres dozens of specues right on the grounds, plus a beach and estuary. Really an amazing place. And great communication with the owner John."

"This vacation property is located in Aticama, a small fishing village north of Puerto Vallarta. This is a vacation rental that absolutely requires a car, and you absolutely require basic Spanish. "Llegamos y tuvieron q marcar para q vinieran a abrirnos. No sabían de nuestra reserva. Así q limpio no estaba. Chico Incomodo. Sin toallas. Llovió y con goteras. Era de noche todo se nos mojo. Muy incómoda la traila. Teníamos muchas ganas de vivir la experiencia y la odiamos. Para rematar apareció una araña. Muy incomoda la regadera. "This property sits in the same complex to a very nice shopping mall... but accessing the shops was always delayed... Hotel has a good restaurant on site, but it was a bit crowded most days we were there given that there was some sports event going at the same time. Accessing the parking lot at night proved a bit of a challenged since the shops were closed."

"The hotel has lovely grounds, and is quite quiet. It is said to have an excellent restaurant but we didn't eat there. Our room was very comfortable but the sliding doors on the patio didn't lock. The bellhop had a carpenter cut two pieces of wood to secure the door. We were satisfied with this response. We would recommend Garza Canela. "
