I stayed at the Villa Liberty for a few days in Sienna. Its a smaller place, very quaint. Its not right in the main town center but a short walk to get there, 10-15 min? Not too much for restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but again a short walk. The staff were extremely pleasant. The room was not huge but as a single traveller I don't need much space. The room was comfortable, and the rain head shower, with lots of hot water, at the end of a long day of walking was amazing. Breakfast is simple, typical bread, cheese, coffee or cappuccino, and boiled eggs. Not a huge buffet but simple and good. If you are driving, parking can be tricky as many people park in the neighborhood for the day, (its across the street from an old fortress), to go into the main town square, so you have to get there very early, or drop off your bags and walk back from where you park and move the car later. If you come in by train, its a 10 min taxi ride from the train station as its at the bottom of the hill and the historic center is up on the hill, most any hotel will be a taxi or bus ride up.
Very pretty hotel, clean, well kept, very friendly staff, comfy bed, hot shower. I'd definitely stay here again.
