"Loved our stay at Chateau Montplaisir! Our hosts were incredible friendly and the chateau is gorgeous, feeling like you’re walking into a piece of history. They recommended a beautiful walk for us to go on our first day. Our stay included delicious breakfasts served on their patio overlooking the pool and views of Valreas including fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed OJ, homemade jams and yogurt, croissants and baguette. "An absolutely perfect stay, Chateau du Martinet is exactly the place for which we had hoped: a gorgeous rustic building, charming grounds, and a friendly team of people that went out of their way to ensure all of our needs were met. The hotel is pet friendly, and two very friendly little dogs greeted us upon our arrival. The driveway is a bit oblique to the main road and we missed it the first time by. But that is no problem because it is worth the drive. I look forward to staying here again. ...

"Une super adresse à partager. 3 logements sont à disposition dans la propriété des hôtes, avec une super piscine devant la terrasse, et un accès voiture indépendant. Les gîtes viennent d'être rénovés avec goût, intérieur et extérieur sont très bien entretenus. L'accueil de Nathalie est au top, avec des attentions particulières tout au long du séjour. Nous avons passé une super semaine avec nos 2 filles. On recommande fortement! "

"Très bon accueil. Le logement est très sympa, bien rénové et aménagé. Les extérieurs sont parfaits, le bain nordique au bois nous a permis de profiter également de la piscine encore froide (avril), le jardin et les terrasses invitent à la détente. La région offre de nombreuses activités."

"Owners were warm and welcoming upon our arrival and throughout our stay. Christoff prepared dinner for us which was excellent and beautifully served. Room was very clean, large and bed was comfortable. They were also helpful in suggesting other places to visit around the area. It would be easy to stay there for several days."

"the front desk closes at 7pm and they charge you 25 euro to call them if it's a non-emergency. we didn't have any sheets on one of the beds so there was nothing we could do. rooms are very basic and dated"

"It was very nice. The outdoor space and pool We’re great and the unit was very clean. We were surprised the unit was attached to owners home as it was advertised as private. There were some things that we would have considered ‘essentials’ that were not provided - like towels, extra garbage bags, dish and hand soap, extra toilet paper. The owner clarified that these were not listed as included, so if you are staying here we would recommend bringing extra supplies from a larger town."

Parfait!

"10 of us stayed here for an extended-family holiday. Ideal space so one family with young children were almost self contained at nighttime. We had no problem with the road noise that previous reviews mentioned. Enough bathrooms, plenty of cutlery and dishes for 10. Beds comfortable. Lovely garden with lots of space and perfect pool. Our granddaughter learnt to swim this week - no floats! Table tennis table in v good condition. Owner very helpful in all contacts and instructions. Would love to come again Valreas a bit off the tourist route but good because of that. Great cycling area and so many vineyards!"
