An excellent holiday let with safe near by gated car park. Doorstep access to local shops, market, museum, eateries, cinema and town. The apartment is up a flight of stairs. Large well designed spacious rooms. The lounge/ dining area is very pleasant and overlooks the towns centre through two large windows. Property says sleep 6 people but there are only two bedrooms, one ensuite, the other a twin room with bathroom down the hall. There is a soffa bed in the lounge for perhaps a couple of children. On the whole a great place to stay. Our second visit was just as pleasing as the first time. the landing from the twin bedroom to the bathroom is long. Two critique. There is a tourch/wall light that comes on outside the bedroom but half way along is a step down which the low wall light doesnt reach. A wall light there would help save you, miss your step and fall ( as one of our group did in the night). The other is the double bed we slept in needs an update. The mattress is worn and has a ridge in the middle and the pillows are poor quality and should have a cover on under the pillowcase. Otherwise it a great place to stay and one we would return to again when visiting Shrewsbury.

Superb location
The accommodation was superb and the location excellent, right in the centre of town with restaurants close by. Loved staying there, however, the key fob for the parking was not in the safe key box on arrival and took the property managing company over 24 hours to locate it (down behind the microwave in the kitchen). In addition the fob was practically split in half when located! We were only there for two nights so had already parked up in a 24 hour car park so I wasn’t prepared to move my vehicle without any certainty that the fob would actually unlock the gated parking area and waste more of my limited time in Shrewsbury. When I explained this to the managing agent they weren’t interested and said they won’t reimburse me for overnight parking for the second night never mind offering compensation for all the inconvenience I had been put through! So in conclusion accommodation fabulous, location exceptional, Shrewsbury a great place to visit but if you have a problem the managing agents aren’t very reasonable or supportive!

I liked it very much. One of my favourite stays i think. Only thing i can think of critiquing was maybe a fan in the bedroom as it was quite warm and i didnt like to leave the windies open. Then again i find most bedroom accommodation to be over warm, so perhaps its just me.

Stunning accommodation in the perfect location.
We stayed in flat 1, 6 The Square Shrewsbury. The perfect location with plenty of cafes, bars, shops on the doorstep. The flat is beautifully decorated, well equipped and immaculate. There was a market in the square on the Saturday selling local goods and produce, the food and cakes we purchased were delicious. Loved the fact there are lots of local independent shops, great for shopping with some unusual gifts. The service received from ESL was excellent, great communication with clear instructions given on how to check in/check out. Any questions were answered promptly. Highly recommended, we would not hesitate to use ESL in the future.
