The hotel is very nice and the staff is great. The area is rough and did not see any security or police officers. Shreveport is a grungy place anyway.

For an older property, it's what you'd expect. Old. The shower head was dangling there, so water placement couldn't be changes, very old, mustysmoke smell (expected) even in our nonsmoking room, nothing was updated. It was quiet and cleaning was average. If you expect it's going to be an old hotel, you won't be disappointed.

We had a two day trip. The room was not cleaned after our first night we had to ask for fresh towels and coffee pods. The toilet had to be flushed three times to work. Overall, I would not recommend it.
