"The only positive about this place is the location, walking distance from the center of town and art/synagogue district. The negative: Can't access with car, the road is so tight and there is always car parked blocking access resulting in at least 2 block or more walk both uphill and downhill with heavy bags from our trip. "The place looks amazing and designed in the spirit of old Safed. I really enjoyed getting to know the owners of the place, they were super kind and lovely! They have thought of anything you'll need during your vacation. The apartment is close to all the interesting places in Safed. I am so happy that I chose this apartment. I had a spectacular and magical experience, HIGHLY recommended! A truly 10/10 experience!"

"Lovely place! I would stay there again. For travelers who are religious Jews: the place is pretty Shabbat-worthy--hard key on a carabiener, but be sure to set the clock on the microwave before Shabbat b/c otherwise no clocks in the room. Also no challah to be had in the Old City where this is though I assume in the new city (a drive or cab ride away) you could get it."

"We spoke to the property owner one week prior, and asked about early check in, since 4pm was too close to the onset of Shabbos. He said we could check in at 11am. We arrived at 12pm. When we got there, we were told 'he's sorry, but the apartment is no longer available'. Keep in mind that we landed from the US that morning, and we are a family with 5 children. You too can feel like an effendi

"We had a wonderful stay in this restored mansion house. The rooms and public areas have stunning high ceilings. There are artworks in every corner. It is like a museum, The bedroom, bathroom, beds, and linen were perfect. The position is in the heart of the old city overlooking the sea. We did stretching exercises every morning on the balcony where the management had left gym mats. The outstanding breakfast was served in a large hall with a six-meter ceiling! The breakfast was a fusion of the best Israeli and Palestinian cuisine. A lovely spread. This was an excellent choice of hotel in this interesting town. The hotel staff without exception were charming. "
