"It's a traditional Japanese house with different rooms available to be chosen. The room is equipped with a lot of items including pajamas, bathing suits, different types of towels, different types of snacks and drinks available for free, and even hair curler. The bathroom has a wooden bathtub which is very nice and offers the experience of a private onsen. The bed is extremely comfortable. The only downside seems to be the windows. They use the traditional Japanese divider to block the sunlight...

"We had an amazing time here, everyone was SO friendly. The onsen was lovely and the rooms had everything we needed. "This was the highlight of our trip to Japan! The hotel is stunning. The manager went above & beyond on multiple occasions, personally escorting us to restaurants around the town and even helping us book bus tickets to get back to Tokyo! The rooms are spacious, clean & beautiful. They had great amenities including a Dyson hairdryer & free laundry which was a lifesaver for us! The breakfast was delicious as well. We loved it here and can't wait to come back!"

"まず、ご飯が1泊２食付きと書かれていたので、鶏鍋やすき焼きなどが選べると思ったら、強制的に鶏鍋の予約になっていた。 結局アップグレードして（一人2000円追加）すき焼きにしたが…びっくりする位量が少ない!! ハチ北の他の宿に泊まってすき焼きを食べたときの半分ほどのお肉しかなかった。（画像で3人分です他にはご飯しかありません。） そしてお肉が硬かった。 あれは本当に但馬牛でしょうか…？ きっと但馬牛でもかなり安い部位なんだろうな…。 これでは楽天とかの方が安いので損をした気分です。 あと、卓球などができる憩いスペースがあったんですが、こちらにあるコタツ、ストーブ（コンセントが抜かれていて届く場所にない） 使わせる気がないなら、置くべきでは無いのでは？ 体脂肪率や筋肉量を測れる高い機械があります！！と部屋にあるパンフレットに記載があったが故障中。そもそもプリント用紙が入ってないので使わせる気がない。 これ、本当にハチ北で1番良い宿と言われるひさ屋でしょうか？ 客層も20代半ば位の若い子が多くて… 少しガッカリでした。 もう泊まりません。"

"It was nice to get away from the tourist areas for a time. Might be a challenge for non-English speakers but the staff was super-friendly and the outdoor onsen with a view of the ocean is worth it. Not really near anything but the staff drove us to a restaurant and we took a cab back. We visited Himeji before we arrived but didn't want to stay anyplace there so used a locker and then stayed the night in Ako. It is away from the Shinkansen line but not too far, take a taxi from the station. 2...
