The common area of the hotel is very welcoming to have breakfast as there is a kitchen for guests to use. There is a small shop in the corner of reception to buy food. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ootaki and would definitely return. The hotel is very traditional and gives you a real insight into traditional Japanese culture. Although the staff had limited English, this was not a problem for us and they were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hotel has lots of freebies as part of their service including combs, hairbrushes, shower caps, razors etc. The onsen was very relaxing and the hotel was clean. "
