"The Oberoi Cecil is absolutely terrific. Both times we stayed we were given an upgrade...the last time to a full suite! All of the staff in the hotel are tremendous and the morning buffet is absolutely fantastic! Mall Road is easily walkable, and there are many interesting connecting roads lined by interesting shops. I am celiac, and the chef Rajiv went out of his way to ensure that I had lots of special menu options. Arti and the assistant manager Raghav were invaluable at the front desk, as were a number of other people. The manager Swati also proved to be very kind and helpful!"

"Excellent choice of hotel for stay at Shimla. Though The Family Room was a bit small for a party of three adults, it was adequate for our needs. The breakfast choice and selection was plentiful and staff went beyond to cater for our needs and made our stay enjoyable. Dinner at hotel was one of the best. Food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely stay here again for our next visit. "
