"We had a very nice and comfortable stay. The place has a very nice view of river with sunset. The owners are very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. It is equipped with washing machine which is a plus for those on long trips. Location-wise, it is easier for those who drive. We will definitely visit again next time. "

"Great host, very helpful. We stayed for 1 night during May. The cabin was very spacious and had some lovely touches, upstairs screen to stream from, free tea and coffee. The cabin is a detached building separate from the main building that has the shared bathroom in. The cabin also has no sink or toilet you have to also go into the main building which is not really clear in the description. Also be aware when booking that access to the property is via a sunken bridge (no sides or barriers) over...

"This hotel offered a great breakfast (choice of Japanese or Western food) which was included in the price but only costs 200 yen if you had to pay for it. Seating for breakfast is on the floor, Japanese style, and this whole hotel is a place where you need to take your shoes off as you enter. I had to take a smoking room but there was nothing smoky about it. Current cleanliness was fine, but the carpets throughout the hotel sure could use replacement. "This is an excellent ryokan owned by a family, with clean and neat japanese style en-suite and onsen. It locates at the top of a small hill overlooking the supreme zekkei of the Shimanto River. The owner and the staffs are very hospitable, we wish to visit again in the future, perhaps in a different season. Thank you very much and we had a wonderful stay."
