"Self check in which was so easy. Entered room but had a very bad smell of cigarettes informed reception and given a room change immediately with apologies. Staff very courteous and polite. Room clean but a little dated sink chipped and table. Bar area very good and very friendly service. "

"We have stayed here 2 years ago and where impressed, sadly not this time we booked a king and got 2 single beds. This was remedied straight away but the view we wanted and got with the first room was disappointing. Also the bed was not comfortable we ended up with back ache."

"Fantastic hotel, close to the city centre, and just off Oxford Road. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and modern hotel. Super comfy super king bed, bonus of a coffee pod machinemd a shower with standard and rainfall heads. The restaurant was lovely - busy at breakfast, but no shortage of food (which was delicious). Highly recommend, and will definitely stay here again."

"Easy check in. Sat in bar for a drink, fantastic atmosphere. Room was just ok. We had an inner room, which overlooked the courtyard. Felt a bit cave-like and dark. Bed not comfortable for my taste and pillows very poor quality."

"Arrived around 10 PM, quick check in by very helpful receptionist. first impressions very good.Got to room tired and went stright to bed. Checked room in morning and it looked very tired, the bed base was covered in vinyl leather which was peeling off, cracked and poorly repaired tiles in bathroom and entrance and worn through laminate flooring. "It was good. Room was dusty and mattress cover didn’t fit properly but other than that it was clean. Room position was noisy due to workmen on roof opposite. Also constant noise of bottles being emptied into bin through the night kept us awake. Lifts were slow and one was out of order for most of our stay. Location was great and close to everything.
