"We gathered to celebrate my friends 50th birthday and knock off a bucket list item with him as well. The house was well situated, in a quiet residential neighbourhood right off the main drag with plenty of food and entertainment options. Felt safe the whole time we were there, parked my car out front and didn’t move it for three days. "This property perfectly fit our family’s needs with a lot of space, many sleeping rooms, a large dining area and two living areas for quiet sitting spaces. When we arrived there was no iron, only 1 kitchen towel, and the dishwasher was broken and had food in the bottom of it. However, the property managers were quick to remedy the issues even giving us the choice of when they would fix the dishwasher (we opted for after our departure). "We loved this townhouse! It’s absolutely beautiful. The showers have amazing water pressure and the beds are super comfy. And it’s in a great neighborhood in Portland. "This property overall is a really good rental with lots of space and a very open and airy feel to the apartment. It has all of the things you need to have a good stay. There are a few things that might need improving to make this a 5 Star Stay. If you are staying here and need to work from home using Wi-Fi I would look for another location that has better Wi-Fi. "Plenty of room for two couples to spread out. We loved the patio and fire pit. Quick walk to downtown. Safe area. The sitting room and fireplace was lovely for morning coffee. Loved to read about the history of this place. Street noise is a minor nuisance but a noise machine solved that at night. We would stay again. "

"We stayed here while visiting family and it was a comfortable spot to relax in after a day of activities. The back yard was securely fenced in for our dog, and our toddler loved running around. We had everything we needed to prep our groceries for meals and snacks. The street outside is mildly busy, but there is a back entrance to the driveway that made it safer to move kids and animals in and out."

"Ruth's Cottage is as advertised - a charming farmhouse which has plenty of vintage touches AND is comfortable, cozy, and with all the amenities one needs. And its location can't be beat - just a short walk to downtown Carlton, an easy drive to McMinnville, and convenient access to everything that Willamette Valley wine country has to offer. I can't wait to return to Ruth's Cottage!"
