We received no check in information in the lead up to our booking, I sent a message through Stayz and got no response, so the day before we were supposed to check in I sent a text message to the number provided. I was then told by the owner that we could not stay at the property because it was damaged and the owner asked me to cancel the booking on Stayz. I replied that I couldn't cancel it as it said there would be no refunds If I cancelled, and asked the owner to cancel it which she said she would. I sent two more messages over the weekend asking for it to be cancelled so we could get a refund, both times the owner said they would but didn't. Finally I called the mobile number on Monday, the owner said they would process a refund, but ended up only refunding a partial amount. So we are now left almost $700 out of pocket for a property that we never stayed at.
