Very relaxing to just lay by the fireplace or you can walk for hours upon end into the bushland and explore. "Lucini cottage is one of a small group of cottages set in secluded street just off the main road in Hepburn. All I can say, is WOW, what a gorgeous and welcoming place. We arrived on a very cold night and after a long drive we appreciated that the lights and gas log fire place were on to greet us. Beautifully decorated and very cozy and only few minutes drive to Daylesford town centre."

"We were initially disappointed with the lack of air conditioning although listed for the property, however following a phone conversation where our concerns were put at ease, and the property was lovely and cool as stated made it very comfortable. All-in-all, a very satisfactory stay"

"The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay."

"Big old trees, cottages & barn accommodation, space in between. Lovely garden area & vineyard, pool too. We were only two but this would be an amazing place to stay for groups. Comfortable, quiet, spacious dog friendly country stay. Lovely drives though surrounding areas & towns."

"This cottage ticked all the boxes for us -comfortable, well-furnished, and cute as a button. The bedroom has good bedside lamps for reading and we slept well. The kitchen and living space are well designed and attractively styled. The air-con cools the house nicely, and the fireplace looks very inviting for the winter months. But lovely as the interior is, our favourite spot was the front porch with its sunny aspect and restful view of trees. Hard to say who liked it more - us or our kelpie....

"Delightful and well equipped little cottage, very convenient to the main street of Daylesford. Two rooms are in the house, the other is at the back of the house about 5m from the back door (this wasn’t an issue for us, but might be something to consider for others). Everything was beautifully presented, the bedrooms were very cosy and the kitchen extremely well equipped! Thank you!"

"So beautiful, the interior decorating so sympathetic with the house. The log fire, the view through the french doors over the elevated deck and the sense of space on top of the hill. We enjoyed the DVD player, the beautiful linen, electric blanket and all the little things like tea, milk and coffee. Thank you so much, we will be back."
