Do you like watching the water, seals and deer while on your zoom call?
A perfect get away for enjoying time away in a peaceful and perfectly appointed home. The views are spectacular any time of year!

3 bedrooms, 2 baths, well stocked kitchen and outdoor space. This home is perfect for quick get aways, family events and more.

If you want to explore there are a number of little towns, hikes, national parks and farmers markets a short drive away. Want to stay put? Relax on the deck and roast marshmallows or enjoy a game night with several provided board games.

Includes high speed internet (700mg), smart TV, BBQ, and washer/dryer. In addition, we have a Peloton and workout room. Office setup (monitor, keyboard, printer). We also have a portable crib, highchair and toddler appropriate toys.

Friendly dogs welcome. (Property not fenced yet but will be before summer 2025). We will have a Kayak by June 2025 as well.

Great Winter Getaway
Fantastic spot to get away for a long weekend and enjoy some quiet and being in the water. Super dog friendly and had everything we needed to really enjoy our stay. Owners were fantastic and communication was really easy.

Great home away from home
We lived the home, it’s a bit away from supermarkets or anything commercial, but we took everything so no big deal. It’s a great getaway location with a great view!

This property was exactly how it's described, tranquil with a lowbank beach. The home was very well equipped and clean. Beds were comfy. View was amazing and great communication with the property managers. Would love to stay there again!

Wonderful home
We had a great time enjoying the seals, otters, deer, ospreys, and our daily breakfast of fresh oysters from right out front in the bay. The view over the bay was beautiful, especially the sunsets. The house is clean, comfortable, and homey, and had everything we needed. Plenty of spices and condiments, and the coffee, eggs, and wine were a nice touch. Easy communication with Tabitha. Highly recommended.

What a lovely place
The cottage has a very personal and comfortable atmosphere - you feel like you have been invited to a friend’s cabin for the weekend. Everything is clean and in good working order. The location is awesome. With the west-facing view, the sunsets are beautiful! Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, private setting with spectacular views! Excellent place to walk dogs. We saw deer every day. The cabin is well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. Instructions were well organized.

Cozy cabin in peaceful location.
We would highly recommend this cabin. Very quiet and peaceful location, yet close to everything you could need. Everything was as described only better. Comfortable beds, nice furnishings and very clean and organized. Can't thank the hosts enough for being pet friendly. We would love to come back!

Peaceful and relaxing
This place was so relaxing! Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels and blankets, and the charcoal BBQ full of oysters was the perfect touch along with campfires! Lots of jellyfish to see when Kayaking at high tide. Also, felt so safe letting our kids 10 and 8 roam around.

Perfect Little Getaway
My husband and his father adored this property for their annual father and son trip! The water is literally RIGHT in front of the house and even though the weather was rainy, the coziness of the home plus the view, made the weekend perfect. The host was quick with answering our questions. Would love to stay again!

Such a special spot with high quality ammenities
What a beautiful space, we really enjoyed our stay. The view of the water is spectacular. The 3 bedrooms are all so nice and it was plenty of space for us. Comfy furniture and nice dishes. Everything was such high quality and well cared for. I really appreciate Tabitha and Dan sharing this wonderful space and location.

Special place with all we needed to enjoy it
It was so nice that the place offered so many amenities to make sure that we enjoyed all it had to offer- boots for low tide beach combing in a workable sizes for me, hubs, 9 and 10 yr olds (only 3 yr old didn’t have a pair that fit), firewood, s’mores stuff, cooking basics, towels for a crowd. We would stay again! Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Excellent Property
This property is excellent. It is very well stocked and there are thoughtful touches everywhere. The view from the deck is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable, there are soft robes in each bathroom, and the kitchen has everything you need in it. The hosts were very responsive to anything we needed. We were in town for a wedding and this home was the perfect spot for our family to stay. I would highly recommend this property,

Tranquil waterfront cottage
Lovely cottage right on the water. We enjoyed our stay very much and were delighted that the host had kindly left us some food and wine. Not a great place for going on walks as you have to walk on the road, although it is quiet. Beds were too soft for us. It was wonderful to be able to have our dogs with us.

Lovely cabin, beautiful water views, very comfortably appointed. Enjoyed spotting the resident seal in the harbor a few times (my husband dubbed him “Sealy Dan”). It’s a bit of a trek into town for supplies, and the grocery stores and restaurants in Shelton aren’t great, so I’m glad we brought most of what we needed from home. Had a relaxing and restful week - just what we wanted!

This property is probably the best VRBO property I have experienced (and I use VRBO a lot). This house is stocked amazingly and so clean and cozy. The pictures are good but wait til you see it in person! The owner is so generous and excellent communication. We had such a relaxing, fun, comfortable (beds and bedding are amazing!) and we will be back!

Perfect cottage on the water. Great for bringing a kayak to launch from private “beach”. Highly recommend it. Bring your own bottled water or filter. Water had a metallic taste.

Amazing staycation getaway!
This property was so perfect for our first getaway as new parents. We were celebrating our 9th Anniversary and our sons first month of life. Relaxing on the deck with the beautiful views was incredible - so much wildlife and perfect sunsets. The area was very quiet and relaxing. The house itself was very, very well stocked. Full kitchen with every utensils you could need (with in reason) and loads of spices available. We were here just for a relaxing stay, but they have so many more things available to make this a perfect stay for you and your family. We will be returning!
