"We plan a girls trip every year. This was a perfect place for it. Enjoyed hiking and sitting around the camp fire. The house porches were very spacious and the scenery was gorgeous. Our favorite was the little grass island in the middle of the lake. We went out everyday to enjoy the sun and play games. We enjoyed hiking at Oak Mountain State Park and the Dunnavant Greenway.Plenty of restaurants nearby.David was a great host - good advice for hiking locations. The cabin was comfortable and a great opportunity to disconnect for a couple of days."

"It's a beautiful, secluded place that has everything we were looking for in a vacation spot. Even though it rained most of the weekend, it didn't dampen our stay. The privacy and ease of access to the fishing and swimming area gave us peace of mind and we were able to relax and have a good time. As an added bonus, we went looking around and found some amazing historical sites that we had no idea was there. Everyone had a wonderful weekend and we all want to come back to this cabin again!"

"The view was nothing short of spectacular! Linen was clean and sleeping was very comfortable. There was plenty of trash or litter scattered about the property. There is a terrible ant problem on the property. All in all we had a pleasant stay."
