"We were there for a 2 night stay at the end of August. The hotel is very well taken care of & it is in a quiet lovely location. Itā€™s beautiful inside too. Rooms are cozy, clean , quiet, & decorated very nicely. The food & service in dining room is amazing! The free breakfast is plentiful, delicious, & fresh. It is a nice touch. "

"The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Their attention to detail was highly appreciated. There was a nice fire in the fireplace. The room and bathroom were clean. And dinner, the Balmoral Chicken, was delicious. The best Iā€™ve had in Scotland. Veggies cooked to perfection as well. Highly recommended."

"Parking was cash only but luckily had that on us but finding the parking was difficult due to construction. Then the small hike to the hostel from the temporary parking was a bit much with bags and over a fence. Service was nice, beds were not very comfortable "

"Pleasant stay, room was comfortable with views over the Loch and had a small balcony. Was separate from the main hotel but the walk not very far and umbrellas provided in case of rain. Dinner was lovely, Michelen Star quality. We saw seals catching fish in the Loch from the view from the dinner table."
