"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. The cottage served as a nice home base while exploring Co. Clare. Phyllis is an outstanding host. She was there to greet us on arrival, and made sure we were well taken care of. "The house was so beautiful and comfortable. We were transfixed by the views and loved having a fire at night and early morning. The owner left lovely treats for us (salmon, crackers, cheese, eggs, and milk that was unexpected but really appreciated. Location could not be better. I hope we can return some day. "

"The cottage was clean and charming. It was in an excellent location overlooking country farms and the Oceanside inlet town of Kilkee and near dramatically beautiful cliffs overlooking the Atlantic.
