This is a destination for any season. There is snow in the winter months with a ski resort and snow parks within 30 min. Shaver Lake is approx 5 miles away for fishing, skiing or other lake activities. 14 guests can enjoy being together indoors or outdoors. This is a multi level space with staircase access. It is comfortably furnished, exceptionally clean and stocked for short or long term renters.

This house had all the amenties and more. It had penthouse of room for our family. Located in a beautiful area and close to Shaver Lake. Great house for large family
We had a great time with our 3 kids and extended family. There was enough room for everyone. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals. It was clean and warm for our snowy trip! Sheila was very welcoming and friendly at check in. We would stay again!

Best family snow trip
Sheila was a great friendly host. The house was all and more than expected. It was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 5 children. I was impressed by the bedding, supplies and all around appearance of the home. And the snow hill in the backyard. 😍 We would love to make it an annual trip.

40th birthday celebration
Our stay was lovely. Sheila was a gracious host, very responsive. When she discovered it was a birthday celebration, she even brought over a tray of cookies. The house was lovely, with lots of little touches like extra chairs to make things easier for big groups. I’d absolutely recommend this property.

This property and hosts are absolutely wonderful! The house itself was perfect for a large group with a ton of young children! The sledding hill in the yard made it to where we never had to leave the house! Sheila and her husband were fabulous hosts! They made the renting process so easy and they plowed the driveway for us daily! Wonderful people!

Our New Favorite!!!
We had the absolute best time! This home is great for large gatherings. It had EVERYTHING we needed with plenty of space. The kids were able to play in the snow right outside the backdoor with a great hill for sleds. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking essentials. The owners were AMAZING and just a text away if you have questions or need anything. We couldn’t be happier and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We will definitely be back!

Christmas Vacay
I cannot even express how amazing Sheila and her home are! We had a few obstacles that popped up prior to leaving to Shaver. After calling Sheila directly, we had a resolution for check in and our trip went off without any glitches. Her home was immaculately clean, very well stocked, and as a group of 14, we had more than enough room to be comfortable and relaxed. I give Sheila and her beautiful home a 10! Shelia a host with a heart. The Cabin was more than we expected. Beautiful 😍. We had our own snow hill in the backyard, no need go far. Warm fire after a day in the snow. Ping-pong challenges, laughter, joy and love. Family memories to look back on. Definitely coming back, loved our time here.

Awesome home for Family Thanksgiving
In well over a dozen years of renting vacation homes, this is by far the nicest in every regard, and perfect for a large and varied family. Wonderfully clean, exactly as described, and the host/owner, Sheila could not have been more accomodating and responsive! 5 large bedrooms, with 6, count 'em 6 KING beds. No compromises for anyone. A fantastic kitchen, with anything you could think of! A full dining room, plus breakfast nook. A fantastic setting, and the very large basement/garage, with plenty of room for the ping pong table, air hockey, and room for a couple of vehicles as well! Lots to do in the area, in all seasons, with walking trails right out the front door! Only caveat, you should like to walk, and do steps, because there are three levels! (garage/basement, main level, and upper bedroom level) Did we mention the wonderful host, setting, quality, and cleanliness? Oops, , with this review, we will probably never be able to get it again!

Great rental for a large family!
The pictures of the patio do not do it justice. It's a very large area for family dinners and outside entertainment. No need to bring up pots, pans, appliances, dishes or utensils. Sheila, the Hostess was extremely pleasant and gracious.

Very nice house with a small warning.
This house accommodated a lot of people and was very spacious. The owner was very easy to work with and answer all of my questions upfront. The owner lives across the street which is both great and a little intimidating. She responded very quickly to any issue. While we were there (August), squirrels were chewing on pinecones and dropping them from trees. These pinecones were still alive (not dried out) and very heavy falling from 40 to 50 feet. It was a very dangerous situation and two cars were damaged with dents and a broken luggage rack. We were afraid to stand outside for fear of being hit. It was difficult to enjoy our trip once this happened and would have been nice to know we could park in the garage.
