NOT ALL INCLUSIVE
As a regularly travelling couple, we aren't particularly picky over our accomodations. We have been to Egypt somewhere around 30 times, so we know about standards and what to actually expect.
I sent 2 emails to the hotel in advance of our holiday advising them we would be arriving early and asking if they had an airport shuttle service. Never received a reply. Fortunately I had booked with Sun transfers a couple of days before we departed. They were very good.
When we arrived we had to wait in reception for over an hour whilst they prepared a room - a lie, as there were many vacant rooms.
It later transpired that although E-Bookers advertised it as All Inclusive this was untrue. In fact it was Full board with soft drinks only. So that's the first and last time we use them.
We were the only English in the hotel, the bulk of guests being Italian, German and Ukranian. Although this didn't bother us at all, it did mean that to the animation team and waiters we were virtually invisible.
Upkeep in the hotel grounds was best described as Patchy. The grounds themselves were well tended but I reported 3 broken sun-loungers on our 2nd day - they were still broken on day 14. More dangerous was the broken step on the right-hand stairway of the pontoon into the sea, reported - same result.
