"The first impression of the property was great! The beds were comfortable and just enough room for the 6 of us. We did have an issue with a couple of things. First, we were not told that we needed to bring soap, shampoo and conditioner. Secondly, we tried to cook in the oven only to have the smoke alarm to go off after a couple of minutes of cooking. "Every year the ladies in our family pick a weekend in December to travel somewhere and see Christmas lights. This year we went to Natchitoches, LA for their Christmas Lights Festival. We stayed at A&A Lakehouse and we so happy we did! The location was perfect (close to downtown), clean, plenty of room for the seven of us and the host was so nice and very responsive. We plan on coming back for the 100 anniversary of the Christmas Festival and will MOST definitely try to book this property...

"The house was beautiful, warm and cosy with everything you needed for a wonderful stay. The location on the river and within walking distance to Front Street was exceptional. We all had such a wonderful time. The hosts were fabulous. We are already planning for our next trip. Highly recommend. "

"House was very clean and comfortable. Cane River runs behind it and area was peaceful and beautiful. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s in the past and this was our favorite. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Snack basket and waters were very nice touches. Communication with owners was quick and easy. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to others. "Pleasant abode, but on two floors: narrow stairs to a large bedroom with TV sitting area and large bathroom with walk-in shower. Bed comfy and king size, with a single roll-away bed for a 3rd person.
