"The villa is situated about an hour and a half from Chania airport. The journey is easy but there is a short period of an off road track just before you get to the villa. It was in a quiet, rural location however was still convenient for local restaurants, supermarkets and the beach and there were many things to do within an hour’s drive (including the airport). "The large dining area beside the BBQ was very hot, partially due to the air conditioning units being there. So we had to move tables and chairs around on the upper balconies to get a shady enough area for ten of us to sit and eat."

The villa itself has all the amenities one would require, and the inside is is fabulous condition. The outside space is excellent and the views from inside and outside are incredible. 10 minute walk to the lake with great shops and restaurants and 10-15 minute drive to some lovely beaches. "This is a beautiful villa with extremely nice hosts who left a delicious Moussaka on the first evening. Its perfect for two families , there is plenty of space both inside and outside with the grounds being particularly nice. The pool is great , we had it heated as it was at the end of the season. You probably need a car as its little remote but there are mini markets nearby. We used both the pizza oven and bbq which were really nice evenings. I would highly recommend this villa We used"

"Excellent stay again at Villa Jazmin. Everything was perfect from arrival to leaving. Nicole kept in touch regarding towels and recommendations. Just a fantastic villa in a great location, a few km outside Plakias. Trips to Rethymno in 35 mins which we did a few times. Great places to eat nearby. "We had a wonderful stay in a superb villa that had everything we could want. The village within walking distance had a range of restaurants all serving great fish dishes. "Really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel and room was immaculate condition. Shame the pool was a bit too cold at end of October but made use of the warm indoor pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast had a great choice and staff could not have been more friendly. Highly recommend. Only downfall was our room was supposed to be full sea view but more like partial sea view from first floor as part of hotel building blocked the majority of the sea view from our balcony."

"A great hotel with lovely staff and very clean. Reception area is welcoming, beautiful and smells fantastic! The rooms are a little on the small side and the lighting isn’t great, especially in the bathroom and shower. There is also a smell which comes from the drains but overall, a great hotel and I would highly recommend it. 3 pools to choose from all with beds although they need to be stricter on the policy of not reserving subbed early in the morning. "
