"Phillipe is an excellent host. The house is spotlessly clean, safe and in an very good location near the St. Just funicular metro stop. It has a kitchen and a very nice living room and bedroom upstairs. We very much hope to stay there again. "

"We had arrived in Paris after a 10-hour transatlantic flight, taken the TGV to Lyon, and driven our rental car to St. Albans. We planned to stay two nights to recuperate from jet lag. St. Albans is filled with narrow streets that seem to have more traffic than you would expect in a small town. It was very dark when we arrived and Verizon's international plan offered no connectivity. I knew the address of the rental, and I had the key box code. It would not open the key box. I tried...

"Agréable séjour avec des hôtes à l'écoute, bon emplacement pour loisirs aux alentours, Safari de Peaugres, Train vapeur, vélo rail.."

"Arrivée à l’hébergement facile. Surpris par le manque de propreté. La cuisine est équipée de très vieux ustensiles, plats et autres. La vaisselle et les verres étaient à relaver. La maison est meublée et décorée de manière trop personnelle. C’était gênant par moment. Nous ne renouvellerons pas l’expérience."

"We were returning from skiing and wanted a day to play in Lyon prior to getting on the plane. This was a nice, out of the way place. We went to Lyon and had fun, and were close to the airport when it was time to leave. The house we clean, check in was easy, owner was very helpful. I would stay again!"

"Hotel is in great location in the old town. My room was beautiful with antique furniture. Comfortable bedding and heavy black out curtains. Everything was sumptuous and old world. Had a lovely tub in the bathroom "

"You never know what to expect when you book a European hotel. I was pleased to find a very nice river front property. Clean, well maintained, excellent staff, good European breakfast, large room, great quiet location in Vieux Lyon across the river from Bellecour. Easy walk to many restaurants and cafes. Don’t be swayed by photos of the simple exterior. It is much nicer on the inside. "
