Large Downtown Home in the Heart of Seward, Sleeps 12

Large, beautiful home with 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms sleeps up to 12 people. This updated house is perfect for large groups or families! Located right downtown just two blocks from Resurrection Bay and the Alaska SeaLife Center, this property is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, hiking trails, the waterfront, and playgrounds.

The main floor boasts a large family room and dining room for the whole family. A queen size bed is in the bedroom on the main floor along with a laundry room, well-stocked kitchen and half bath. Upstairs has two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each, and a third bedroom with a twin and a full-size bed. There is also a queen size pull-out sofa-bed in the living room, with linens in the downstairs bedroom closet, and a ‘click clack’-style twin futon in the hallway upstairs with linens in the nearest bedroom closet.

The outdoor patio, grill, fenced yard and lovely landscaping are all pluses! Two parking spaces are available on the side of the house with additional parking on the street.

As a free resource, my husband Clay, a local boat captain, and I are here to answer questions or help you book the perfect excursion to explore Seward and the surrounding Kenai Fjords National Park. We offer discounts on many tours to our guests.

Located right downtown just two blocks from Resurrection Bay and the Alaska SeaLife Center, this property is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, hiking trails, the waterfront, and playgrounds. It's also right across the street for Resurrection Art Coffee House - a local favorite!

The home is located in the heart of downtown, so you will have Seward's other visitors frequenting the sidewalks in front and on the side of the home.

We do encourage guests to refrain from cooking fish inside the unit; however, we do provide a grill for outdoor cooking of your local catch. We do not allow processing of fish on property.

This property has a great location 2 blocks from the city shuttle, a short walk to the water and downtown area. The house is well equipped and it was a perfect spot to spend a few days before our Alaskan cruise. Lots of room for 6 adults and two young children. The host is very responsive as well.

Our family (ages 18 to 77) thoroughly enjoyed the Large Downtown House. The house is spacious with plenty of room to stretch out. All amenities we needed were provided. Quick walk to historic downtown. We also had a great pre-stay experience with recommendations and help answering questions about the Seward area. We would love to come back to stay again.

Great Seward stay!
This was the perfect house for our family; close to services in town, nicely appointed, immaculate, and the perfect number of beds and bathrooms for us. The space was great and we loved our stay. The only drawback was for anyone wanting to cook….no cooking stapes at all, not even salt and pepper, so everything you’d need to cook will have to be brought in, or purchased here.

Family Vacation in Seward
Our family vacationed in Seward and loved this house. We were a group of nine with six adults and three children. The house was spacious and in a great location to walk around Seward, which we did several times. The rooms are spacious and clean. We fixed dinner at the house twice in our three days visiting and found the kitchen met our needs very nicely. The laundry was a big plus for us.. We would highly recommend this house for similar groups.

We've stayed in Seward many times and this place is the best so far. The house was clean and spacious with just the room we needed for three families. The kitchen was well-stocked with many items that aren't always found in a rental, but so appreciated: (aluminum foil, ziplock bags, etc). There were also other nice touches such as a toy box (big thanks from our littles) and board games. Then there's the location: it's right next to an amazing coffee shop and an easy walk to SeaLife center and shops. Great rental at a fair price...thanks!

Clean and modern spot for exploring Seward
Nice house, well maintained, in the heart of Seward. Seven of us stayed for two nights … plenty of elbow room. The house is situated next to a nice coffee house and only a short walk to restaurants and a water-side park. We appreciated the helpfulness of our host when a question came up. From one of the bedrooms we heard a buzzing noise that worried us. Even though it was a Sunday night, he had someone out within the hour to track down the issue (just a rattling exhaust vent for the hot water heater) and made sure we were settled in OK. We would definitely stay here again if passing through Seward.
