JANUARY OFFER ! MANOR HOUSE IN SEVILLA CENTER. INTERNET WIFI, A/C

We rent a great and cozy house with an Andalusian patio in the center of the city of Seville. the house has a room with a double bed of 1.35cm, another room with another double bed of 1.35cm (a capacity for up to 4 people), bathroom, a toilet, living room and fully equipped kitchen with everything What's needed: fridge, washing machine, dryer, microwave, ceramic hob, Nespresso machine. It also has all the amenities to make your stay as pleasant as possible: television, Wi-Fi, PC, video, stereo.
The house is located in the neighborhood of Santa Cruz-Alfalfa, next to the temple of Hercules, located in Marmoles street and a few minutes walking from the cathedral.
The old town of Seville offers a good cultural, social and gastronomic atmosphere that does not disappoint visitors. Live the experience of spending a few days in Seville in an authentic Andalusian house in the heart of the city. An ideal place for families and is suitable for smokers. is rented for days, weeks, months and long seasons.
A DESCRIPTION OF THE SANTA CRUZ DISTRICT
The song says that Seville has something special, and if you know the Andalusian capital, you will agree with me that that something special is in the Barrio de Santa Cruz.
Your walk in the Barrio de Santa Cruz will undoubtedly be one of the most rewarding moments of your visit to Seville. A walk in the day, but also at night enjoying the tapas in the busiest streets of bars.
Just as the sister city of Cordoba has its Jewish Quarter that stretches from the Mezquita, where all the tourist activity is concentrated, something similar happens in Seville to the Barrio de Santa Cruz.
In fact the Barrio de Santa Cruz is actually the old Jewish quarter of Seville, where in the time of Fernando III of Castile was concentrated the second most important Jewish community of Spain after the one of Toledo.
Now when you walk through the Barrio de Santa Cruz you will find a network of small and secluded squares, narrow alleys and passages, in fact, a place to get lost.
What to see in Barrio Santa Cruz
Your walk, which you can start from the Plaza del Triunfo, where the cathedral is located, entering the square known as Patio de Banderas, next to the Reales Alcázares, should be a search of corners.
The Plaza of the Three Crosses in the Barrio de Santa Cruz de Sevilla
The Passage in the Barrio de Santa Cruz in Seville

One of the first can be the square of Santa Marta, hidden behind a passage that you access from the Plaza del Triunfo. But I want to highlight the Plaza de la Santa Cruz, where there is a church with the same name, and where the remains of the painter Murillo.
In the square of the Refinadores you can see a sculpture dedicated to the literary figure of Don Juan Tenorio, which had a special link with the Barrio de Santa Cruz.
During your walk through this popular neighborhood you will visit the house of the poet Luis Celaya. And you will pass by the so-called Water Alley, which extends along the wall of the Reales Alcázares, and where you will undoubtedly be struck by the beautiful courtyard of the Washington Irving house.
Even in one of the lost corners of the neighborhood (you can not tell where it is) you will see three columns of granite that belonged to a Roman temple of the first century.
When it comes to tapas, a must see is Mateos Gago street, very easy to find, because it starts behind the back of the cathedral. At the corner of Calle Rodrigo Gago, I dare to recommend the ever-popular Bodega de Santa Cruz Las Columnas, with a great variety of excellent tapas and at a good price, but with limited space.

Great Location - great stay
The pictures are accurate of the home. It was well maintained, but as the pictures indicate, there was a lot of stuff/knick knacks everywhere. The one item that detracted was that the owner had at least 10 essential oil diffusers of all different scents in the house that overpowered the senses. It was quite unpleasant. Other than that, the house was clean, supplied with toilet paper and paper towels. The location is great. Seville is a very walkable city and it was easy to get to the sites, restaurants and everything else.

We felt extremely privileged to stay in this beautiful home. What a rare treasure of a place in a unique and colorful neighborhood with intact Roman ruins out the kitchen window. The house is filled to overflowing with amazing art, character and charm reflecting the owners well lived life. Great heating and cooling system, within easy walking distance to so many of Sevilles' excellent sites and quiet for sleeping at night. We would LOVE to stay here again!

This is a very unique house, in a good way. You will find lots of high quality decoration that you won't find in any other place. It's located in the very center of Sevilla, so you can go anywhere walking. At the same time, because of its location, you probably won't get a close parking. I'm our stay there was a confusion about the rooms needed, but communication was fluent and they solved it quickly

An almost perfect stay!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two-month stay in Carlos’ outstanding Andalusian home. Although we had no language in common, we communicated easily when necessary via Google Translate and What’s App, and Carlos and Jose were always helpful. The only things we missed were a bath tub and some outdoor space where we could sit in the fresh air. Saying that though, we look forward to returning next year.

You won’t find a better place! This apartment is gorgeous, clean and well-located on a quiet street that bans cars. The rooms are spacious and lovely. Everything was perfect. One warning: the shower is nice, but has little head space. If you’re tall, you might have to bend over. Still, this apartment is a jewel.

Lovely Stay
Walking into this property is a little like wandering into Alice's Wonderland. As is accurately depicted in the photos, Carlos is an avid collector and the home is a visual wonderland with wonderful treasures everywhere you look. Cozy and complete with all necessary amenities, in a wonderful central location where you can easily walk to the Cathedral and Alcazar and explore nearby neighborhoods.

Beautiful place in great location
House was incredible and beautifully decorated. The only issue was that that only the master bedroom is air conditioned- the rest of the house was hot and there were no fans. The bedroom at the front of the house is right on the street (pedestrians only) but sometimes loud voices throughout the night- I did not sleep well in that room.

Good location,
The property is in a good location. We stayed for ten days we never actually met the owner we communicated via text. All the cupboards and chests except one were locked which meant with lived out of our suitcases that was not acceptable Evan the cupboard in the kitchen was locked so we could not store any dry goods. All the knives were blunt. And the dryer didn’t work. One chair was missing a caster making it uneven to use, and some of the upholstery had no springs, there is no satellite or cable tv as advertised when I text the owner he said I needed to use my login details but I don’t have a Spanish ip address. The air conditioning is in the bedroom only. We had to cleared some of the coffee tabes of locked boxes of bric a brac in order to use them the Dyson stick vacuum was absolutely full of dust which is probably why it didn’t work. It does have an aging Nespresso machine. But no pods I would have thought the owner could have at least provided some as part of a welcome pack but there is no amenities provided no information or leaflets about the area at all. In short the owner is not in the least interested in anything other than collecting rents. On the positive side the linen was clean, an the bathroom an shower were good. In short this is a stay for one or two days max, a good place to explore from an somewhere to drop your bags. I don’t like to write such a negative review but in this case I think it’s deserved

The property is spectacular. Such a gorgeous apartment, so tastefully decorated with antiques and unique pieces. It is located in the heart of Seville’s old city, at short walk away from the main attractions of the city. The apartment had everything we needed. If you have the opportunity to book this property, do not hesitate. It is one of a kind!

A lovely apartment, well located and with tasteful furnishings. We initially had a few communication issues due to language differences/lack of information at the property but these were resolved on day two. The owner kindly allowed us a late check out so as to store our luggage before an afternoon flight home.

A very charming and richly decorated apartment with easy access to all that Seville is famous for. Carlos was a most gracious & accomodating host and very easy to deal with. Very good location in the center of Sevilla, yet on a quiet street free of car traffic. Looking out the kitchen window you see the Roman Columns as your neighbor. The place is well furnished and as the pictures show, adorned with fine things. The host is friendly and helpful, easy to communicate with and responsive to questions. It would be a pleasure to return here.

Like a night in a European castle.
This place is unbelievably beautiful inside, the pictures do not lie. Spending a night here is a fantasy. It's like spending the night in a queen's castle. The place is full of beautiful artwork, furniture and various nick-nacks. There is a reason for the security deposit, the owners are entrusting the renters with a lot of beautiful items. The experience is one we will never forget.

Location, location, location
Location is quite important to us and this was very convenient to all we wanted to see and do. 5 stars to this factor. The property itself was clean and available to us on arrival. Jose met us and gave us a brief introduction with one set of keys. Being a retired firefighter I found it absurd that you needed the key to exit the apartment. Both locks in and out were difficult to work. The space was quite cluttered with bric-a-brac and numerous pictures. It has to be a nightmare to dust. No instructions in English were left for the washer/dryer nor the coffee machines. Nespresso pods needed to be purchased at the local supermercado. We found out that the French press machine did not work after purchasing coffee for it. Both beds were very comfortable, but not quite queen size, and the apartment is very spacious. One full bathroom, no tub with a very low ceiling shower and a half bathroom with only a toilet. All in all a pleasant stay. Very close to the Turkish bath. A great apartment to shower and sleep, nothing more.

Convenient and Spacious
This apartment certainly presents well in the photos, but upon entry, one finds a mix of old and new. The kitchen and bathroom have been upgraded although are small in proportion. There is an excess of old fashion fans, paintings, religious relics, and low lighting throughout that feels like stepping into a Dicken's novel. The apartment is obviously being lived in when not rented. Overall, the location is very central albeit a little hard to find. This was remedied by a few days of walking around. My only complaint is that the master bed is extremely hard and not suitable for people with back problems. We solved this by placing the comforter on it from the second bedroom as a pillow.

Very nice....But
Pros: - Just as pictured - Accomodating hosts - Large apartment with 2 bedrooms and over-sized dining and livingroom areas - Clean - Beautiful old-world layout and furnishings - Updated bathrooms and kitchen - Great location Cons; - 2 bathrooms, but only 1 with a shower. If both bedrooms are occupied expect traffic thru the master bedroom to use the shower. - It looks like the original center courtyard was enclosed during renovations. The result is a poorly ventilated apartment with little natural light, There are many lamps to offset the lack of windows and semi-adequate air conditioning to improve the ventillation..

Amazingly better than the pictures
This home is simply incredible. We stayed here for five days after a month long trek and a string of other homes and were astounded by how beautiful this home is in person. Carlos and Jose Maria are incredibly gracious hosts and there were so many amenities available in this house. It is great walking distance to all of the local sights. Shops, restaurants, flamenco museum, pharmacy, grocery, just a few streets away. The beds are firm and comfortable, rare washer AND dryer (didn't encounter many dryers in europe). We might even go back to Seville again just to stay in this home.
